We have Witcher 2 version 3.4.0 (the patched GOG one), and attempted to install the following mods from Nexus via NMM:
- Witcher 2 Full Combat Rebalance
- Extra talents per Lv
- Weight Watchers
- Fix Dice Poker and Arm Wrestling - Always win

The game is not loading any of these mods when launched either through NMM or the regular launcher.

After several relaunch attempts, we then tried paring the list down to just the Weight Watchers mod, and it seemed to install correctly (the file went into the Cooked PC folder, and looked fine when opened in Notepad++), but did not affect the weights in the game.

For reference, our The Witcher 2 NMM settings are:
Mod Directory: Drive:\Program Files (x86)\The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition\mods
Install Info: Drive:\Program Files (x86)\The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition\Install Info
The Witcher 2 Mods Directory: Drive:\Program Files (x86)\The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition\CookedPC
No custom launch commands.

What's going on? Help!! We want another playthrough of 2 before 3 comes out!!

I don't think FCR will work with the other mods as it changes the same file 'base_dzip'. I recommend using either FCR only or Extra talents with Dice poker wins + weight watcher mod.

You could get them to work by editing the scripts, but it is not a easy task!. There is a guide how to do this in the comments section of this mod. - http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher2/mods/657/?

If you want to use the 'Extra talents per level' and 'Dice Poker always wins' make sure you download the optional file from the link above.

Back up your original base_scripts.dzip file from your CookedPC and replace it with the new one.

For Weight Watchers - By adding to the Nexus Mod Manager and activating it from there puts the file in the wrong place. Make sure you create a "items" folder in your CookedPC folder, and put the file there instead.

Place def_weights.xml in CookedPC/items.
