Heyho guys,

i have the problem that the game isn't starting. It worked for some time and now suddenly it doesn't wanna start.
When i start it via GoG or the launcher, then the launcher opens and when i click on start game the witcher symbol appears and then goes away and nothing happens.

When i start it via the witcher.exe the symbol appears and goes away. And again nothing happens.

I already installed this DOTNET fix patch.
I tried to start the exe as admin.
I tried it with the compatibility mode.
I tried to start it with low resolution.
I tried to start it in windowed mode.
I disabled Antivirus.
A new installation as admin didnt help either.

I have Win 10 64bit.

This problem drives me crazy. It worked for some time and then suddenly stops working. This is MADNESS. Same with the steam version of the game :( . I just want to finish the game and start playing witcher 3 >,<

I have the EXACT same problem. The game was working fine and since this morning it won't launch.
I did the exact same thing as you :
-Run as admin,
-Install the dotnet hotfix,
-Compatibility mode,
-New install
-Disabled Avast

Result : still won't launch.

I was getting desperate but it's a relief i'm not alone in this, maybe an update triggered this.

I'm on windows 10 64bits btw.

Looks like galaxy is the problem.

How do you mean that? I have the same problem with the Steam version and also when i dont start it via galaxy...

Sooo do you know a way to solve this? <3

It is either the latest patch or galaxy,eliminate one or both.
