I have problems with Windows 8.1 x64 whenever i alt-tab the game and then click on it again the game CTD's without any error message

Specs:

i5 4670K
AMD HD 7870
16GB RAM



I dunno how to fix this. Can anyone help? I tried fiddling with settings but nothing worked.

Instead of clicking on the game, alt+tab back to it instead. I haven't had this issue with Witcher 2, but I have with other games.

Fixed this issue by running in Windows 7 Compatibility mode..

First time this actually helps resolve issues for me :)
