When I try to update Witcher to 1.08.2 the .exe prompts me to give a location for the file, but calls every location I give it invalid. It's also asking me to insert a disk for my digital game. I'm getting really frustrated and need help.

Are you asked for a bin-file? In most cases the patch is splitted in 2 files (1 exe-file and 1 bin-file) like it was for patch 1.07 and 1.08 and so on. You need both files. After that double click the exe-file to start the installation of the patch.

I have the bin file. It's saying this despite that.
Perhaps your download got corrupted. Try to redownload the files.

If this doesn't help you could try this:

1. Install GOG Galaxy. - It is the first time I recommend using Galaxy. :)
2. Import Witcher 3 to Galaxy.

IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY

For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the "+" button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

3. Let Galaxy patch your game.
4. Play the game through Galaxy or start it the old way without Galaxy (like before).

Tried Galaxy, when I launch the game it's still showing v1.06 instead of 1.08.

Is auto-update enabled? Try out if verify/repair helps (behind the more button).
