Basically the green storage chest icon shows on the mini map, but does not appear in game. I can walk on the spot where the chest should be. So far I've tried repairing it with the GOG launcher with no success. In previous versions I was able to access the chest.

try using the verify/repair option through galaxy. i had the same problem and this worked for me.
