Someone found a quest looping bug in the game on An Skellig in which you can repeatedly activate a part of a quest, walk a short distance away to trigger the next part of the quest and gain 50XP, then turn around and go back and talk to the guy again over and over in a circular loop gaining 50XP each time.

Not something I'd do on purpose in the game as exploiting a bug like this is essentially cheating and I like to play my games as they're intended to be rather than exploiting bugs/glitches/etc. in games but I thought I'd pass this along for others who want to avoid such glitches as well as for those who actually love this sort of shit and want to level up Geralt to level 34234234234234 for no useful reason except maybe to kill that level 48 archgriffin.

The exploit only works if you haven't completed the quest and it is done in the order suggested in the video mind you so this bug wont work for everyone.

It's single player there is no cheating just cheesing... and this person is probibly doing that because of the no XP bug a while back.

Since I tried to level up to maximum level, I can say that there is really no point. Equipment wise, mostly damage for weapon, and armour for, well, armour, are changes, but no matter what, difference is not that big to make a point. Even Griffin level 24 can and will kill Geralt level 70 in equipment level 60+ with ease. More skill points are pointless (no pun intended) as we have few skill slots and actually few useful skills IMHO. More powerful weapon will only slightly reduce killing time, again, rendering overleveling pointless. So there is really no point in levelling up, as best items could be either looted at fixed locations, crafted, or purchased. I do hope we'll get some purchasable scalable sword sets to match the armour, because no way I'm going to recollect all that rubbish to craft Geralt ursine griffin cat thing. No fucking way.
