The crashing is ridiculous and I doubt it is an nvidia driver issue as it is happening to my wife as well and her pc is AMD/ATI while mine is INTEL/NVIDIA. Looks more like an actual game issue or possibly the patch?
That is really boring FREEZING every 20-30 min ... in a fight, when I walk around, but not in a menu, what is strange, because watched someone at twitch, where it only freezes in the menu

It is the same, how it was in Dying Light, THEY NEEDED 4 Months to fix it ...

HOW LONG WILL CRD NEED ???

Unplayable for me atm ...
Same issue. OC SLI 980s, OC i7 5960X, 16gig 2800Mhz Rampage Ram, 4K Ultra settings.

Game runs great, not hitching, no overheating, crashes out of nowhere.

Q: How many of you that are having this issue are overclocking your gpu? I have a suspicion that may be the culprit. Testing now.
using full screen mode solved the freezing problem for me
Same, Sli gtx970, 8gig ddr3 1600, i5@4.2ghz,

Seems to be random freezes. Sometimes in menu, sometimes in game. Audio plays in background. Try to alt tab but game img takes most of screen. The only way to close is to log out of user in windows.

Win 8.1

All sliders maxed but Hair. 1080p locked at 60fps and never dips below while playing.
Same here - been running the game in fullscreen the whole time and have had 5 or 6 crashes to desktop in the 3 hours I have played. It doesn't seem to be cut scene triggered but has happened during them.

GOG support was no help to me. They dismissed my support claim because I didn't meet the minimum game specifications. Completely disregarding the fact that my game is running smoothly at medium-high settings.

i5-3570K
GTX 560TI SLI
8GB RAM

I'm going to try a few things that have been suggested (disabling GOG galaxy, running as admin, driver rollback, etc.) and see what happens.

I'm having the same problem.

Same problem

So after disabling my OC on my GPU, the game has played longer without incident. However, the crashes remain. Only now when it crashes, I don't have to hard reboot my computer. Progress I guess...

Next test: Usind Display Driver Uninstaller to do a clean install of the latest drivers. Back later with results.
same for me and also i5 gtx970 16RAM.. but only happened once in 6 hours.
Wow lot of Nividia problems but I am getting these problems with my AMD 290, did not change any settings when I started. It'll give me like 30 seconds before it freezes or cdts.
unplayable atm ;/ every 5 min...
Crashing after couple of minutes of playing. I really hope this is not another Bioshock Infinite :(

So far, after using the DDU to do a clean instal of the driver, I've managed to play over an hour without issue.
Same here. The Game random crashes all the time. Tried dirrefent settings, Witcher 3 Nvidia drivers.
Same here, crashed about 6 times already, reinstall the drivers doesn't help neither (testing it on both 350.12 and 352.86).

Specs; I5-3470, GTX970, Win7-64bit
