I just purchased The Witcher 3 and am on a mac PC. I believe imac 27?
I redeemed my code online and confirmed what I needed to via email.
I then clicked the game on "my game shelf" and under the game downloads section I downloaded the first installment for the game.
My question: Why am I given windows applications to run instead of the ones intended for Mac?

I purchased the game for my PC and asked the retailer whether or not I could play this game on my computer.
He told me yes so I bought it.... am I just screwed out of $60??

It appears there's no Mac version yet. Damn.

Ah man, there is no MAC verison. You don't have a PC (windows) that can run the game?

This is a sticky situation becuase you already redeemed the key on GOG. I'd contact GOG and see what they suggest you do. I'm thinking you might be out the $60.

I purchased the game under the impression I could because of what the salesman told me.
I sent them a ticket and hopefully they will reply promptly.
I would not have redeemed the key if I knew it would not work.

I agree, the only reason I say contact GOG first is becasue now that code is attached to your account. Either way though you are, IMO, entitled to a refund from the retial store you purchased it from due to the salesman either misleading you, or simply not being informed well enough to do the job assigned to them.

I'd hope it all works out in your favor, GL to you.
