not enough disk space my ass.

enough said. tried all solutions i could find on the net. (enough seem to have this problem)
set galaxy directory to correct drive (before first try) relocate even system temp directories in the advanced setting just in case gog can't handle ssd drives, always rebooted.

still can't install.

I don't use GOG Galaxy. It still seems too new and needs to be worked on. I've only ever installed my GOG games using their download utility or manually. I'd recommend just doing away with Galaxy for now and install W3 manually. Very easy and probably less problematic.
If your C: is limited this is what is checked because it is STILL downloading information to the Program Data folder like a douche.

the C: ssd has 70 gig free. galaxy says not enough space but still blocks around 27 gig on the drive i want to install to (430 gig free)
i already had a bad feeling when there was unescapably promotion everywhere and horribly bad Facebook promo (at least in german, that guy is so terrible i'd rather get posts from Saddams former propaganda minister).
then the selling the addons before the main game gets released or work for them even started. push galaxy, inculding making it more complicated to use download manager while galaxy is still a pile of...

I'll say it:

i want to apologize to EA and ubisoft for thinking it can't get worse. cd project/gog is done for me. fuck those guys. if they don't care about their products, they should not dare to care about my money ever again.

I don't hate Origin, but Uplay and Galaxy seem to be pretty similar in how they're a pain to use. If Galaxy becomes mandatory or preferred, I'm afraid it's game over.
I had a similar problem (out of memory error) with some crash on desktop.
I solved by enabling the paging file on my SSD.
Really a strange error that I have only in this game.

hmm didn't help. it was activated as standart in win 7 and 10. disabling didn't help either.
but i didn't think of this/try it before. thanks for the input

An "Out of Memory" error is a scripting issue.
