In Galaxy: More --> Manage Installation --> Verify / Repair
in GOG Galaxy Verify/Repair option is grey and I can't click it. I have just box edition of the game, maybe thats the problem, but cd project red should still support it.

btw. I also have white bullterier.

RudySkrzat: I have just box edition of the game,
Then you need to add the game to Galaxy, assuming you want Galaxy to manage your game/s. If you don't want Galaxy to manage your games, then you need to download the newest installers -- you cannot get the old update patches any longer.

If you still need help iporting your game to Galaxy read this:

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

[...]

After that Galaxy should do the patching for you.

I'm having a very similiar problem. Haven't launched GOG Galaxy in a few months and when I launched it today "Witcher 3 Wild Hunt" started an update and it doesn't finish. It first stopped on 97.3% and now its simply stuck on "checking local files" for the last 20 minutes. GOG as well as my game files are on an SSD it should not be doing this my hardware works fine I have steam games and origin games also installed on that hard drive and they work just fine. Problem is I cant seem to cancel the download which is a problem considering I'm wanting to download another game but I cannot because Witcher 3 stays at the front of the que.

I've had witcher 3 installed since the game game out and I did it through GOG Galaxy App. So the above suggestion wont do anything for me most likely.
