I've had quite a loss in framerate and frametime, dips have been a lot more frequent and the settings are lower than what they were.

This is kinda strange but Nvidia can't retrieve my settings either which were right on before.

Anyone having similar issues or a suggestion on what might help? Rollback isn't an option, unless I want to play the game overburdened.

I'm not having any luck with Nvidia GeForce Experience either. It doesn't appear to be compatible at the moment, but I'm sure Nvidia will release a patch soon.

Also, with the patch defaulting all settings, I've found it a challenge to restore my graphic settings. It'll take some time to tweak them, I guess.

I see, glad I'm not the only one. Just need to find out why its performing worse, its a shame cause the updates have been great otherwise for convenience and combat.

May have to wait on an update from Nvidea to compensate this extra large patch.

Looks like it, hopefully it'll be back to normal after that.

It's wait and see at the moment.
There are new settings available for hairworks.
Check them out if you have it active. Maybe they are set too high for your specs.

I've had it off completely unfortunately, still not quite performing to where it was.

Same exact problem.
Completely broken. I went from 40-60 fps to 8-12 fps. Updating drivers and lowering settings didn't help. GPU is GTX 970.

It looks like they've updated it as I'm now able to optimise my settings.

Thank you, I checked just now, works here too. Time to do some tests.
For me game now runs slightly faster and with noticeably better performance overall. My system is just below minimum recommendations.

Maybe stronger systems took a hit. But older ones seem to be boosted...

Finished testing, GeForce Experience changed 5 settings from high to ultra, depth of field was switched on, only 'foliage visibility range' was lowered, so I figured my problem, that was hurting my performance.

I think its about the same now, stays above 50fps in Novigrad, went as high as 80 (and kept above 70) in White Orchard (at Sawmill). Looks like its actually improved there, I remember testing before in the same spot.
I have also noticed some performance issues after the latest patch as well-it wasn't clear at first but then in certain areas after the update my fps dip down to 30....:(. Before the patch it never went below 40.... I am playing the game with all settings on Ultra +Hairworks, Hairworks AA is set to 4. Now mainly I still get between 45-60 fps( I have adaptive vsync on) but in some cases it goes down to 30 which never happened before.
Nothing has changes in my system as fat as drivers or settings or hardware....
I have:
Asus Z97Pro
Core i7 4790
16GB DDR3
EVGA GTX980SC
Samsung 840Pro SSD 256GB
