I'm working to collect all the cards.

I found a website that lets you check off the cards you have and then print a list of cards you still need.

Very very nice.

But there are several cards, at least 4, that you are supposed to get from the innkeeperess at the White Orchard Tavern but SHE IS NOT THERE ANYMORE.

It says her or the Trader outside.

No Trader outside either.

There is a Merchant inside but he won't talk to me.

Also a Merchant just down the road a few steps but he doesn't have the cards I need.

Anyone know how to get those missing cards and why the Innkeeperess and Trader have disappeared?

I hope they will release offical gwent cards for sale with a proper deck like in the game.

The inkeep isn't there because she's the woman in the Kingfisher inn, Novigrad that, after Priscilla's song, accuses Geralt of murdering villagers. She ain't there any more, and hasn't been replaced. The merchant is her relative, Bram, that you can rescue from the Griffin with Vesemir. You must get the cards before end game.

Is there some quest(s) I have to do to get her to come back? How do I get the cards from her or the trader when neither one is there anymore. Is Vesemire a quest or an NPC I must talk to in order to get the quest I need?

She doesn't come back. She's gone for good. CDP added fail safe measures for cards that are made unavailable through quests or oversights like this. You must check your quest log.

Are you serious about Vesemir? You really don't know who Vesemir is?

Probably in a failed quest.

I know I've seen and been involved with Vesemir, I just thought there might be a quest named after him.
There are many side quests that I haven't taken, especially those on the bulletin boards. I think I've only taken a couple of those and very few from NPC's that you talk to.

You can't fail a fail-safe quest. They are there until you find the card/s. Though to be honest, I'm not sure if they included minor cards like those from the innkeep in White Orchard.

UPDATE:

I just discovered I had done a terrible job of listing the cards I have.

I missed quite a few of them.

Discovered that the reason the Innkeeper and Trader won't talk to me is I already HAVE all the cards I'm supposed to get from them.

I have approx 68 cards to go.

Don't know why the Scribe wouldn't let me play in the tournament and said my cards weren't good enough. Perhaps because I don't have a complete set in any Faction.

I was just at the Passiflora whore house because there is a card you are supposed to be able to buy from one woman there.

She doesn't have the card and neither do I. :(

I talked with as many people who would talk to me and paid the girls their 40 gold and went through all the sex scenes. I was hoping one of them would give me a quest because there are some cards that mention quests and Passiflora. Nope nobody gave me any quests. I went upstairs / downstairs everywhere I could find to go there with no luck.

I wonder if it's because I'm level 24 and that's either too high or not high enough.

I found the Scribe who runs Qwent tournaments and wants a 1000 gold entry fee but he said my cards weren't good enough ... I should come back later.
