Remove DRM, DRM-free only
<br /> Looks like DRM on GOG is hear to stay:

"All games available on GOG have offline installers available. We stay in touch with the partners and do our best to keep them up to date. However, video games continue to evolve with many titles offering online modes, cosmetics, and incentives for completing certain actions by players. This might be subjective, but as long as these additional features and rewards do not affect the single-player offline experience in a major way, we believe that the developers and publishers should be free to design and sell their games in a way they choose."

Can not say I'm surprised. I just disappointed at this stage.
Just about to start the process of deleting my account
No DRM. If Developers and Publishers want to sell their games here then they should understand the customer base here. The reason people shop GOG is for DRM-Free games. Not just some DRM, but completely free of DRM. No DRM means absolutely no DRM, get it out of GOG.
Games with singleplayer content locked behind an online check are not entirely DRM-free. The worst part is that Cyberpunk2077 itself commits that sin!
If they allow even a little DRM they just can't claim to be a 100% DRM-free store. 95% is not 100%
For those blabbing about 'multiplayer DRM isn't really DRM': GOG also sells single-player games with DRM-ed content: www.gog.com/forum/general/drm_on_gog_list_of_singleplayer_games_with_drm/page1
I fail to see any place where GOG has included DRM in their releases. As another user mentioned here, having a login requirement for multiplayer does not equal DRM. You might want to research what DRM actually is before saying that GOG is releasing games with DRM.
I’m real estate broker in Montreal realestate-savaria.ca/
condo and apartment for sale in Montreal
Just an FYI, login requirements to play certain games in online multiplayer is NOT a form of DRM. Please keep your silliness to yourself.
I will not forget this. Keep the DRM out of here!
This was a really disappointing thing to see start appearing on GOG. Felt like the last nail in the coffin for a storefront whose developers evidently just really weren't taking it seriously.
Ugh, please! Can't believe even a small amount of DRM still exists here. Really? is it true? why is ANY allowed at all? wow.
Don't support DRM Games. I've spent a lot of money on GoG. If a title such as AOW3 is giving them problems they should just give it the boot. I was interested in the game until I saw DRM. No sale for me and I won't support any form of DRM. Vote with your wallet.
DRM in any form should not be tolerated from GoG. I hope they take a strong stance and boot this game like they booted Nordic games for not adhering to GoG Principles.
being forced to play as guest for offline = DRM, remove the DRM or the games that uses it.
i was very interested in AOW 3, but because of that game, now i have huge doubts about GOG DRM free policy.
like i said, being forced to play as guest for single player = DRM, the logic is obviously, i don't want to play as a guest on any games that i bought!!!!
Just remove the games from GOG...
I want to be able to trust GOG 100% and not get backdoor DRM surprises.
Even if it is only multiplayer, these issues damage my trust.
They had a feedback poll about this a while ago. I suspect the feedback let them know that it's ok if they keep it contained.
And they do, it's only AoW3 really and even then only if you want to use their servers for multiplayer (which you totally don't have to, so that is fine).
Age of Wonders III, Two Worlds, and Battle Worlds: Kronos all contain DRM to play multiplayer.
Neverwinter Nights. Galactic Civilizations. Cossacks. American Conquest. Keys are DRM, unless you include a keygen.
Huh? Gog is all about DRM free. Did I miss something?
Yay! GOG, get rid off that damn DRM finally! :)
For those of us less omnipresent of these things, could you provide an example of a game they sell which includes DRM?
