Better than 4 in every way. Only last year did I finally get the Old King ending after about 8 hours of trying different builds. Ended up using a tank with samsara's and yamaga's to beat it. Also, the naval base mission is one of my favorite missions in all of Armored Core!

On my top 5. Please give me another reason to play this game. The fact that dual melee is possible is reason enough but to add a few others the customization, missions and gameplay are pretty good reasons also. The Spirit of Motherwill mission is just another reason why I love this game and the series as a whole. The first time gliding up to this massive machine knowing you need somehow take this thing down on your own was just crazy.
I remember seeing a badass robot fight on youtube when I was like 7 years old, but never knew the name of the game, years later I come to find out it was this same game , Armored core 4A who had the white mech (white glint) fight in the trailer, and right now I'm older and played the Ps3 version unfortunately my ps3 has problems that i cant fix and had to put it away before it get more damaged, I really want this game and other armored core games to be in GOG, I'm not the only one asking for these wishes alot of people are wishing and asking for all of armored games to be brought back. I became a fan of the Armored core series and I want to explore the pass by playing then so please GOG bring all armored core games back

This is an Armored Core game with the fastest combat, seconded only to AC6. There's a lot of memorable moments that I got playing this, one of it is that I managed to finish the last mission of destruction ending with a light build while dual wielding a laser blade. Funny thing is that It is not some kind of challenge per-se. Instead, it is the only build that I have a success in finishing that particular mission, both in normal and in hard mode.

My favourite Armored Core game, and possibly one of my favourite games of all time. Armored Core 4 Answer was a direct improvement to its predecessor. Customising my AC was a great part of the game, the soundtrack for this game is in my daily playlist. The combat is just perfect, the Old King ending is difficult but the best one, White Glint is awesome. The branching endings makes for a great replay experience. If I had to choose just one game to add to pc, this is at the top of my list.
Picked this up on a whim from the Xbox 360 bargain bin at my local EB Games only because I knew that Armored Core was a really good mech game franchise. That purchase is single-handedly what got me proper into the franchise - the NEXTs you pilot in this game are nimble & handle unlike anything else I've played, and Spirit of Motherwill is easily one of the coolest missions in a video game bar none. This game, and the rest of the series by extension, deserves to be widely available on PC. It's only fair after how successful ACVI was, right?
I think preserving and making games like this accessible is just a must. I watched old gameplay as a kid mostly. Silly me didn't know it was on ps3 too. But the mecha games are interesting as he'll and the gameplay looks so fast and cool. I imagine a lot of people got into the series with 6 and fans love boasting about this game. Giving a way for those newer fans to enjoy the history and legacy of the series they are beginning to love would just be cool to do.

I had the ps3 demo of Armored Core 4 and desperately wanted to play the full game. I could only find this game in stores so had to settle. As my first Armored Core game ever this was a wild ride with zero buyers remorse to this day. Fights are fast, the missions varied, there was a huge amount of customization and a soundtrack that lives rent free in my head. Seeing this game and the other Armored Core games getting votes is so very exciting!
Those games also need your vote!

Star Raiders
Star RaidersStar Raiders is a first-person space combat simulator for the Atari 8-bit family of computers. It was written by Doug Neubauer, an Atari employee, and released as a cartridge by Atari in 1979. The game is considered the platform's killer app. It was later ported to the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, and Atari ST. The game simulates 3D space combat between the player's ship and an invading fleet of alien "Zylon" vessels. Star Raiders was distinctive for its graphics, which, in addition to various map and long range scan views, provided forward and aft first-person views, with movement conveyed by a streaming 3D starfield as the player engaged enemy spacecraft. While there had already been target-shooting games using the first person perspective (including 1978's Cosmic Conflict), Star Raiders had considerably higher quality visuals and more complex gameplay. It inspired imitators throughout the 1980s as well as later-generation space combat simulation games including Elite, Wing Commander, and Star Wars: X-Wing. In 2007, Star Raiders was included in a list of the 10 most important video games of all time, as compiled by Stanford University's History of Science and Technology Collections.

Battalion Wars 2
Battalion Wars 2This sequel to Battalion Wars plays much like its predecessor, blending real-time strategy with third-person shooting. The game's plot traces decades of war among six factions (Solar Empire, Western Frontier, Anglo Isles, Iron Legion, Tundran Territories, Xylvania), and unfolds through contemporary missions that advance the conflict and flashback missions that reveal its history. Players control a soldier or a land, sea, or air vehicle to engage in combat directly and to command other units. The Wii Remote is used to target and fire, but selecting and ordering units is performed through conventional button presses. The Wii Nunchuk's thumbstick controls player movement, and evasive maneuvers are handled through gestures. In the single-player campaign mode, the player assumes control of the various factions at different points in the conflict's history. The game also features three online multiplayer modes. Skirmish mode is a timed two-player match to score more points than the other player by destroying opposing units. Assault mode is a timed two-player match in which one player attempts to destroy the other player's resources and fortifications while the other defends. Co-Op mode is an untimed two-player match in which both players work together to complete special online missions that are not part of the single-player campaign. Offline local multiplayer is not supported.

Haven: Call of the King
Haven: Call of the KingThe King Athellion has left his homeworld to fight in an intergalactic crusade. He left behind a huge bell - The Golden Voice - for his people to call him should they ever be in danger. During his absence however, the evil Lord Vetch invades the planet and enslaves Athellion's people by infecting them with a deadly virus. A virus, that requires a constant treatment with an antidote called catana. As the only one controlling the catana-support, Lord Vetch was easily able to force everyone to work for him. In order to prevent Athelion's return he has hidden The Golden Voice and soon it was forgotten along with the king's promise. Forgotten until Haven, one of the slaves, starts having dreams about a hill and a bell; dreams whose meaning he does not understand. When the news of the Haven's dreams reach Lord Vetch, he orders to murder him. Haven manages to escape and eventually learns about the real meaning of his dreams and is determined to find The Golden Voice and put an end to Lord Vetch' reign. Haven is a fast-paced, action-packed platformer but it also incorporates elements of several other genres. Haven can pick up many different weapons and parts of the game play more like a Shoot'Em Up than a platformer. There are also several vehicles to control, ranging from speedboats and jetcars to gliders ,spaceships and jetpacks. Despite all these action elements, there are also some slower paced levels, which put more emphasize on puzzle-solving and exploration. Haven's conceptual artwork was done by Rodney Matthews, a fairly well-known English sci-fi/fantasy artist, which is evident in Haven's surrealistic, bizarre design.
