Great game a nice mix from FPS, Tank simulator and RTS. It is a uniqe feeling from building and defending your base all by yourself slowly building up your army to counter attack. Also only one of the few games where a story really splits into two parts and is not a "select your end screen" button. Wish that genre comes back but bigger in space all the maps are tight to place your base with few ressoures you have to use to beat the enemy.
Although the remaster does exists, the are significant changes to the art style that make me wish my old disk wasnt so damaged so i can replay and compare it to the original.
it is definitely a unique game, a mix of RTS and hovertank action with a wide selection of pilotable vehicles and a fully voiced campaign that takes you across several different planets with different biomes and situations.
