Story:Multimedia encyclopedia which included a trivia game, MindMaze, in every edition of until Encarta 2007. Early versions have MindMaze as a direct link in the main menu, while later versions hide it behind a Ctrl+Z shortcut. In MindMaze, the player navigates through several floors with 100 rooms each in a 10x10 grid, moving through rooms by answering multiple-choice trivia questions on a timer. Answering a question wrong twice in a row resets the question. In each room is a character that will talk to the player, and there are paintings on the walls which lead to articles within Encarta. There are four difficulty levels, and nine trivia categories for selection. When answering a question, an article link is next to each potential answer.Show more

Rare Replay
Rare ReplayRare Replay is a 2015 compilation of 30 video games previously developed by Rare and its predecessor, Ultimate Play the Game, in their 30-year combined history. The emulated games span multiple genres and consoles - from the ZX Spectrum to the Xbox 360 - and retain the features and errors of their original releases with minimal edits. The compilation adds cheats to make the older games easier and a Snapshots mode of specific challenges culled from parts of the games. Player progress is rewarded with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews about Rare's major and unreleased games. GoldenEye 007 is added to the game library of anyone who purchases a digital copy of Rare Replay. Upon GoldenEye 007's release on Xbox One/Series consoles, it was retroactively added to the game library of anyone with a prior purchase of a digital copy.

Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-KazooieA bear named Banjo needs the help of his loyal friend Kazooie, a red feathered bird, to rescue his sister Tooty from a witch named Gruntilda. Gruntilda has created a machine that transfers one person's level of beauty to another, and plans to use it on Tooty, so she can steal her youthful good looks. Tooty is hidden within Gruntilda's lair, a strange collection of rooms that contain portals to mysterious environments, where new landscapes, new friends, and new foes are encountered. The layer contains magical doors that seal off certain rooms, stopping Banjo and Kazooie from finding Tooty. In order to open these doors, Banjo and Kazooie need to collect mysterious objects called notes, which exist within the mysterious environments. Collecting enough of these notes will give them the power to open the magical doors. In order to open a portal to a new environment, a jigsaw containing a picture of the environment has to be finished. Golden Jigsaw pieces are located within previously visited worlds, and can fit any unfinished jigsaw. The game is often described as being similar to Super Mario 64 and Donkey Kong Country, as well as sharing a few similarities with The Legend of Zelda series.

Banjo-Tooie
Banjo-TooieColossal, immense, and gigantic; beautiful, gorgeous, and grandiose -- these are the words one thinks of when describing Rare's follow-up adventure to Banjo-Kazooie. Keeping consistent with the attitude found in this title, Rare has wittily named it Banjo-Tooie. Banjo-Tooie, simply put, is incredibly unimaginable. The worlds are ludicrous in size, the gameplay is polished and deep, and the soundtrack proves to be an immaculate compliment. When it comes to defining platform-based entertainment, Banjo-Tooie is filled with chapter after chapter of standards. Explore eight giant worlds, solve puzzles and help game characters to unearth jiggys, play as Mumbo, a T-Rex, Submarine, Money-Van, Washing Machine, and more, and learn more than 40 new moves on the way.
