This series was effectively my introduction to Capcom, which has since remained one of my absolute favorite devs, constantly putting out games I adore. The style, the combination of Zelda and Mario (or at least that's how I saw it) mixed with the humor gave it a charm that has stuck with me ever since. It's also rather tragic as this was intended to be a trilogy, and we never got the third game. My hope (and it's a pipe dream) is that this could garner enough attention brought back to pc that Capcom could be pushed to give us the finale we never got. I'm not a good writer, but this series means a lot to me; I hope that comes across. I'd love to revisit it, and see others play it for the first time to see why it's so special to someone like me.
omg I forgot all about this game I remember my mom bought this for me cause I wanted an action game but she didnt want it to be |too violent" lmao so she got this for me :P it was good i liked it enough to beat it!
Those games also need your vote!
Silent Hill 3
Silent Hill 3Silent Hill 3 is the third installment in the Silent Hill series. Like the previous entries, Silent Hill 3 is a survival horror combining action-based combat and puzzle-solving, but is somewhat more combat-oriented than the preceding installments. The main character is able to side-step and block some attacks, but in general shares with the other protagonists of the series their relative ineptitude in combat.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed KingDragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is the eighth installment in the Dragon Quest series, developed by Level-5 and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 2 video game console. It was also later released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2015. It is a traditional Japanese-style role-playing game with random enemy encounters, simple turn-based combat mechanics, and management of a party consisting of four characters, each belonging to a clearly defined class. Unlike its predecessors in the series and most Japanese RPGs in general, the game features a continuous world with fairly vast landscapes and integrated towns and dungeons, as opposed to world map traveling and locations represented by icons. The game features full camera rotation and optional first-person view. Like in the previous Dragon Quest games, many objects can be interacted with; for example, barrels can be physically lifted, carried, and broken, to reveal items hidden within.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Wizardry I & II
Wizardry I & IIWizardry I & II contains the first two installments of the Wizardry series: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord and Knight of Diamond. Both games were ported to the PC Engine (TurboGrafx) CD console with various enhancements, unreleased separately. In fact, the two games are merged into one, as the player is able to play through both of them continuously directly from the main menu. Though the game(s) are rather faithful in gameplay and graphical design to the original computer versions, the enhancements are significant enough to consider this release a remake. Similarly to the NES / Famicom version, the dungeons have simple graphics, unlike the computer originals with their vector lines. Enemy sprites are also more detailed and occupy a larger portion of the screen. A pre-made party of six is available to the player right at the beginning, consisting of characters with generic names ("Fighter", "Samurai", etc.); creating own characters (unlike in the modified PC Engine CD version of Might and Magic), however, remains possible. Dungeon navigation is accompanied by orchestrated CD audio music in this version. The battle music is in PSG format.
