gave a long-winded ramble on the PSP version of this game's page, but i'll add a few points here just for the sake of the PSX version. porting the 2011 PSP localisation to this version would easily make the battle system more accessible, ironically enough, given the speed at which battle takes in the PSP version. yes, battle thrives on auto (setting up and executing) in innocent sin, but the snappy UI is sorely needed for anyone w jrpg experience. i was decently inexperienced w jrpgs when playing p2is:psp, and as such, had no issues, but i do know this is a decent run-killer for newsona players coming across to the old games. innocent sin is a fine place to start, imo, when it comes to the oldsona games. i started with innocent sin, oddly enough, and despite some out of context moments w yukino mayuzumi, innocent sin goes out of its way not to spoil the player on the events of p1. sure, some moments will lack punch, but it's far better than eternal punishment (which is still quite mild). if any game was to be ported first, i'd honestly argue innocent sin should be that game, purely given the stellar story and tight-knit cast. this game has a lot in common w persona 4, the black sheep of the newsona franchise these days, but i'd say innocent sin has a lot of underappreciated joys, same as p4. there's only a few really noticeable differences from version to version, but atp in time, i don't think a certain endgame boss's appearance is going to put off potential players. if anything, it's prescient commentary on the world we live in, and the nature of conspiracy and truth getting stretched to its limits as communication takes flight. this game has quite a few y2k notes, and when you take plot elements like those into account,,, innocent sin becomes timeless in a way its creators likely never expected. in order to learn from history, etc etc... anyway, wonderful game. recommend it highly. think it'd fit right in on an accessible PC library like GOG!
Esse jogo tem uma história bem interessante e intrigante, pelo menos pra mim,além de gráficos bem bonitos pra época e uma gameplay interessante,o que rende boas horas de jogo

Please make it the original PS1 version and not the PSP version. The Original felt darker and more ominous in tone. The only problem that I could see with this would be translation.
Those games also need your vote!
Loki: Heroes of Mythology
Loki: Heroes of MythologyA fantasy voyage through the great mythologies, Loki allows the player to take on the role of one of the four heroes of the game, each drawn from a different mythology: a mighty Norse fighter, a fierce Greek warrior, a powerful Egyptian magician or an Aztec shaman who masters the secrets of the spirit world. Whatever hero the player adopts, he must come to the aid of the gods he worships. He will come to realize that behind the chaos that is threatening his world lies Seth, the Egyptian god of darkness and evil, who has returned from the kingdom of the dead. The hero must therefore undertake an epic journey across the various epochs and myths. He will fight a multitude of monsters of all shapes and sizes, and even overthrow a few gods, on his way to preventing Seth establish his wicked reign. An epic adventure across four great mythologies - Aztec, Egyptian, Greek and Norse - allowing the player to live through many of the key episodes that mark these cultures (the siege of Troy, Ragnarok, ......) and setting him in the path of the most prominent figures within each episode (Achilles, Thor, Akhenaton...). Choose from four different heroes with radically different attributes and powers. Each hero has a vast array of spells and skills to help him through his quest. Innumerable story lines through random generation of decors and items, so that nobody lives the same experience and allowing the game to be played many times without the hero ever having the same set of weapons, armour or spells.

Lunatic Dawn
Lunatic DawnThe first title in the Lunatic Dawn series from Artdink, released in 1993 for PC-98 and FM-Towns. The game is dedicated to character creation, RPG-style character development, and exploration. In the beginning, the player creates the playable character, choosing age, gender, and even weaknesses - all of which affect the character's parameters such as stamina, weapon technique, charisma, etc. Afterwards, the player allocates points into the remaining parameters. The player starts in a city and is absolutely free to go wherever he/she wants. There is a day/night cycle in the game. It is necessary to keep an eye on the character's stamina and buy food rations - the character can die of exhaustion and hunger. Random enemies appear on the world map and in dungeons. Battle screen is isometric and allows free movement. It is not necessary to choose a command for each turn: the battles evolve automatically until the player interrupts them with a new command.

Legend of Mana
Legend of ManaWhile incorporating action role-playing game elements from the three games which preceded it, Legend of Mana has its own distinct style of gameplay. Most notably, it gives the player the ability to shape the game's world of Fa'Diel according to his or her desires, a system which was incorporated through the use of "artifacts," which are gained as the player progresses through the game. The player uses the artifacts to create different towns, dungeons, etc., called "Lands", to venture to and explore. This creates a non-linear gameplay, since the game is driven by a series of what would be considered side-quests in other games. Legend of Mana features three different plots which can occur simultaneously, and which do not necessarily need to be completed for the player to finish the game. Legend of Mana was a financial success in Japan. While the game garnered considerable praise for its graphics and presentation, many critics and fans were turned off by the game's lack of a main storyline.
