In retrospect, they should've made SiN 2, instead of going the episodic route, which Valve thought was a surefire thing that would set the gaming industry on fire; sadly, that wasn't the case, and SiN Episodes: Emergence's storyline became an aborted arc that quite possibly may never get resolved, but due to Nightdive Studio's acquisition of the IP, there may be some hope after all. That isn't to say the game isn't enjoyable, which it is, but its shortcomings concerning the episodic format, short length, limited weapons and lack of enemy and environmental variety, hold it back significantly. Play SiN 1 and its expansion, Wages of SiN instead. Much better than what came after.
