Story:Joe is no ordinary man and Viewtiful Joe is no ordinary game. Capcom's new superhero action game mixes funky cartoon-style visuals with classic side-scrolling gameplay and introduces the world's quirkiest million dollar action hero. More than just any ordinary dude, Joe must transform into the ultimate superhero. It's up to you to activate the correct view mode like "slow" or "zoom in" in order to clobber your enemies with beautiful style. You can also speed up or slow down your visual effects for even more "viewtiful" moves. Viewtiful Joe mixes an innovative viewpoint with an amazing stunt-filled action movie universe.Show more

I remember first playing this game with the GameCube Demo Disc. I had so much fun with it and it convinced me to try the full game. I loved the fun, action packed gameplay with slow down, Mach Speed, etc. Definitely an underrated Capcom classic.

One of my favorite games ever an awesome action game that doesn't have a ton of special moves like DMC or OG GOW but still is quite fun especially using the the VFX powers. One of the few games I played on all the difficulties just to unlock all the characters and the nice touch of having "new" cutscenes with all the characters. And I would love an official PC version since it is still stuck on the GC and PS2.
I've got this on PS2. It is a pretty solid beat'em up game that has replay value with the other characters you unlock adding different challenges to the game. If the cartoon series was included with it, it would add more to the game as it gives more insight into what Joe's like as a character.

I remember trying this on the Gamecube via Gamefly back in the day. I was still a fan of Power Rangers at the time so I loved stuff like it. I loved the art style, the sense of humor, and the gameplay so much that I decided to buy it outright. And when you beat the game, you get the option to replay it as different characters! Viewtiful Joe is easily one of my favorite Capcom franchises ever and I would love to see this series brought back in some capacity. Even if it's something as simple as an HD collection, I would get it immediately.

Viewtiful Joe is such a fun and underrated series. Right now it's still stuck on the Gamecube & PS2 and hasn't been re-released...ever. I miss this character and the gameplay. Capcom heavily favors Okami and gives nothing to Vj. This series needs a 2nd life. I would pre-order a re-release day 1 without hesitation.

Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-KazooieA bear named Banjo needs the help of his loyal friend Kazooie, a red feathered bird, to rescue his sister Tooty from a witch named Gruntilda. Gruntilda has created a machine that transfers one person's level of beauty to another, and plans to use it on Tooty, so she can steal her youthful good looks. Tooty is hidden within Gruntilda's lair, a strange collection of rooms that contain portals to mysterious environments, where new landscapes, new friends, and new foes are encountered. The layer contains magical doors that seal off certain rooms, stopping Banjo and Kazooie from finding Tooty. In order to open these doors, Banjo and Kazooie need to collect mysterious objects called notes, which exist within the mysterious environments. Collecting enough of these notes will give them the power to open the magical doors. In order to open a portal to a new environment, a jigsaw containing a picture of the environment has to be finished. Golden Jigsaw pieces are located within previously visited worlds, and can fit any unfinished jigsaw. The game is often described as being similar to Super Mario 64 and Donkey Kong Country, as well as sharing a few similarities with The Legend of Zelda series.
