Just something I've been wondering, since I can't think of such a game.

Basically, the requirements are as follows:
* The game has to recognizably be an RPG. In particular, the criterion I like to use is that the success or failure of an action (for example, hitting an enemy with a physical attack) is determined by the character's abilities (and possibly dice rolls/RNG), not the player's skill.
* The game has to recognizably be a WRPG, not a JRPG. Note that this is based on the style of the game, not where it was developed.
* The game should not be a roguelike, either.
* If the game has a predefined main character, that character must be female.
* On the other hand, if the game has a player-created main character, then either the game must only allow you to create a female main character, or the main character must be canonocally female judging from later works. (For example, if there's a novelization of the game's events, or if the game's protagonist is referenced, in any way, in a sequel or spin-off, that character has to be female.)
* It has to be the *main* character; sidekicks, even if they're prominent mandatory party members, don't count.

Any games like this?
Divine Divinity?

Lone_Scout: Divine Divinity?
Nope.

Quoting from tvtropes:
"The main protagonist of Divine Divinity, marked as a candidate for the next Divine One. Their class, name, and gender in the first game is chosen by the player, but in later games is canonically a male paladin named Lucian."

The character is of selectable gender in the first game, and canonically male in the rest of the series, and therefore doesn't meet the requirements.

The character needs to be canonically *female*, not male.
KOTOR 2.
Since you made sure to mention 'canonically'.
In a wider sense, Assassin's Creed Valhalla can be described as RPG or at least as quest based action game with RPG aspects.
And while it is possible to select the characters gender, several documents in the king's ingame library list the character as being female, her past name is Varinsdottir other than Varinsson, as it would be for a male character, the chosen gender is ignored.
Also in AC Odyssey the main character is supposed to be female. Apart from books and comics the character Cassandra makes an appearance in AC Valhalla.

Maybe Sacred and Sacred 2.

And Dex
West and female only, this does not fit well... you may have noticed.

There is many such examples but not in the West-RPG genre...
Usually both gender can be chosen or male only...
I recommend watching out for JRPG or Action Adventure (plenty of options), else you could be doomed.

Maybe "Disciples Liberation"... this is a Tactic-RPG, clearly West. This is absolutely female protagonist... hard to think different.

KotoR 2 is unisex... i see no "female only".

Ok, I didn't notice it, nevermind. That's a tough one.

Drakan: Order of the Flame is a Western RPG where you play exclusively as a female character that also has a dragon friend. Actually is one of my favorites but sadly Gog doesn't have it here. Check out the wiki link below.

Dragon Age, although you can create a male character too.

I remember that game but it was an action adventure, not a stat based RPG.

Would Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok count?

Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition probably doesn't, being ARPG.

Don't see why not. It has strong narrative elements, but it's a RPG by all means.

That definitely fits the criteria. There are stats, levelling, whether attacks hit/miss is determined by stats, contains role playing elements. Exactly as described in the OP. Came to my mind instantly the moment I read it.

But other than that? Yeah, pretty tough to think of one.

Blackguards 2 could probably pass. The battles are turn based, but the main character takes part in pretty much all of them. But other than that, fits most of the criteria. Currently 90% off.

Well, Steelrising fits all criteria except random chance or dice rolls being the determining factor for actions.

Would any of the Dark Eye games qualify? I think Memoria has a male and female protagonist where you change back and forth between them.

Actually, I was thinking of Demonicon, not Memoria.
