I bought 2 battle.net games and 4 steam.havent done so in 9 years.gog is a mess

Yeah, well, I have a huge backlog and I play some Blizzard games. So, I'm set for years. It was mostly a matter of collecting, for me. I'll start buying again when they rollback the site AND give us back manual sorting.

I guess you can save your money because that's not going to happen.

Well, I've tried to give the new look some time to get used to, but it just doesn't work for me. And i also mean that literally. It's still riddled with bugs and logging-in is broken. There's no sign-in button showing on the main page, so I have to go to another page, click the sign in, and then scroll down a little. Otherwise the loading circle goes on forever. I also find myself visiting the site less and less, because it just doesn't appeal to me as much. I used to visit regular to check the newsfeed, but that's been removed.

I'm sorry, GOG, but this has been a disasterous update to the site. You're disregarding PC users in favour of the dumbed-down tablet finger-bashers who's idea of gaming is non-existent

If you really must push ahead with such a revamp, then consider having a parallel site for PC users that's no different to the original one. Then see which one gives the most revenue. You could even have a bar chart in the corner of each site to show which is doing better.

We don't want to leave. PC users are, after all, the ones that made you. So it would be a shame if some were forced out due to a bad decision like this :(

This week has been much better. Both weekly sales now scroll in the top banner thing. Now if they do the same for the daily and show a timer to the end of each sale, and also fully remove video autoplay, I'll be content with the new design.

Definitely some improvements there, and in the "Now on sale" section. I don't think the front page is particularly attractive, and for sure it looks less attractive than the previous (pre-anniversary) design, but functionality is getting better.

Prices seem to be borked when trying to browse store with Palemoon.
I got no idea what €19.99 Free could even mean.

Also "games for you" tab only show bestsellers; "new" and "upcoming" tabs are completely unavailable.

I'm using Firefox and the front page is still all messed up. It says "Now on sale" yet doesn't show any games.

I didn't even know there was a GOG giveaway going on since the front page just showed 3 blinking dots. Does anyone else see this?

Sure, that's how it's been for me in IE ever since the redesign. Guess it's time to say welcome (back) to the club to FF users too (and definitely so for Palemoon users)? Or is it an older version?

Does GOG know that the website isn't working for both FF and IE?

I didn't notice right away that i had enough money for a certain game on my paysafecard, so went out and got a paysafecard for 10 eu. Only then to realize that the currency was dollars instead of euros and when i went to checkout i seen the price again in euros. I even thought there was a price change but no it was dollars fault. Got even more games lol

I'm on FireFox, and it's working fine for me, aside from the the fact that clicking on the "You Have # Topics With Unread Replies" taking me to a bear, but that's been like that for years.

They've definitely been told. Doubt they care.
But speaking of FF, I have a FF56 (so the last pre-Quantum one) around, seems to work in that...

Well i tried to like this new layout site design but hell its a headacre every time i move mouse i got a mine field of pics poping up makes it hard to go through the games list now after 1 page im ready to give up on site..

pc users use mice having all this active animation is a pain in ass been here for years always enjoyed looking at the game list and buying stuff now im avoiding these sales unless i have to suffer for a game i wanted on sale .


Its sad that they don't care about our imput only what their team wants,,, we are the users who buy here after all..

P.S since the massive site changes i went back to dosbox and yard sales for my old gaming fix,,,at least then the items there dont jump at me like these pics here....

Hello everyone,

I agree with the general sentiment that the new design is inferior to the old one. Their are at least two community whislists dealing with this. If you are unhappy with the new design and would llike to do something about it, click on the gold button on applicable community whislists to help change this. Go to COMMUNITY, COMMUNITY WHISLISTS, FEATURES.

With enough input we could probably roll it back to the old design or, maybe get options to change how the the store looks. For example toggle on or off the curated collections. GOG seems to be a reasonable and good company and will probaly listen to us and help us out.

PS: I would also like to suggest a simpler way to search for games via a search bar so we do not have to go to "browse all games each time." This would be very helpful even if for some reason the current store page stays the same.
