Kickstarter is already running!

I saw this game's Kickstarter page and I must admit I was deeply impressed by it.
However, I don't play this kind of RPGs very often now, so I didn't back it (maybe I'll buy it in 2020 on GOG), but it's a must have for any RPG fan. Looks awesome.
Third game I backed.
Damn, I had the feeling I would regret not backing this, so I changed my mind. Backed!
Almost last of early bird rewards...

Yep, now it's gone.

Phew, just in time!
Make sure to choose DRM-free option in the backer survey... :D

hehehehehe
I might back it (would be the first time I do that/pre-order anything), it depends though. I indirectly asked them about patches etc because I really don't want to get some game DVD, only to have to update it all the time (and how would that work anyway?).
Happy that they use their own engine though.
I really hope this succed.
So far it looks like it will.

By the way, if you can't or just don't want to go through Kickstarter in order to back - apparently there'll be another way to throw some money at the project:
Yes, we will offer PayPal as soon as the funding goal has been reached.
I'm surprised this isn't gaining more traction here, considering a lot of people love these kinda games. Another plus is that the environment looks pretty great and isn't nearly as bland and cartoony as in games such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker or Tyranny. Maybe the title needs something like "RPG" in it or something...

Anyway, I asked them in regards to patches and content. From what I was told, the physical version comes on a DVD and USB stick. Patches (bugfixes and the like) can be download on a platform like GOG but also on their website. They do plan for new content once the main game is completed:

"The content expansion packages don't come in tiny pieces through patches/updates but as big DLCs every 8-12 months or so.

Better think of volumes like the Goldbox games: "Pool Radiance" Vol I.-> "Curse of Azure Bonds" -> "Secret of the Silver Blades" -> "Pools of Darkness" Vol IV."

I have also asked whether there is a chance we will get those addons physically as well but haven't received an answer yet. I certainly do hope so at least.
I plan on making a pledge later on tonight.
