What will you do with a drunken whaler early in the morning?

Nantucket is coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Whales are majestic beasts. Damn-near mythical, by some accounts. But Moby Dick - well, he's another story entirely. As you assume the role of a daring whaler, customizing your crew, charting a course, and trying to score big against the forces of nature or the hazards of seafaring, the pale demon will be waiting for you. Will you conquer the curse that consumed Cpt. Ahab? Or will you drown in it?

rampancy: I swear, if the price comes in at under $20 I'm going to host a giveaway for this game, to get people to post the most offensive and obscene limericks possible.
Additional suggestion for any possible giveaways, have it "most offensive and obscene limerick that remains PG". That should make it slightly more interesting.

Well, it is set in the 1800s and based on a fictional story (which did not end well for the whalers, IIRC).

Saw this game on Agrippa's (:P) YT channel and thought "nah it's not coming to GOG soon" and now I'm all "damn". Awesome!!

Truly unique. Saw the vid w/w sound and to me it's a - and I quote - "King of Dragon pass x card game x chill piratey mood" but I might be 100% wrong. Nevertheless great design I must say. Cheers!

Me I would have gone with Nightwish, Nemo.
The interesting thing here is that the band has a lot of influences from the Moby Dick medias. Starting with the name, which carries the captain's name Ahab plus the acronym A.C.A.B., and going with clips from the 50's movie as you can see in its YT channel.

I have to say, when I saw this picture I instantly imagined a very different game and was rather disappointed to see what it really is. I imagined something much more... impressive. Sailing the sea, fighting giant, hulking sea monsters. Not looking at a map on a table and doing managerial work :P

I mean I'm sure it's fine if someone likes this kind of strategy game, but I'll sit this one out.

How about a "play as whale" DLC? Smash tha whalers! Destroy the ships, leave the crews marooned on tiny islands and watch them go insane!
