I suppose most gamers stick to the typical staple gamer diet, one that's either fast to order (Pizza) or fast to make (Hotdog maybe), along with a Coke or Pepsi ..... though some have a Milo ... in AUS at least.

I personally like a Cheese, Salami & Beetroot fresh bread sandwich, with pepper & salt to go.

Lollies are good throughout the day or night for that occasional boost of mental energy.

Iced Coffee is great too, especially if Farmers Union Ice Coffee.
Beer and some solid stuff... anything, but definitely not gnomes
Chocolate is also a good fuel for gamers
I enjoy cooking, so it depends on the day, time, and groceries.

Over the weekend, I made laksa. Vermicelli topped with bean sprouts, fried tofu puffs, shrimp, softboiled eggs, surimi balls, and Thai basil. The base was made by caramelizing shrimp heads and shells. Then I made the sauce from scratch by blending together Thai chilis, dried chilis, shallots, garlic, galangal, tumeric, lemongrass, and fried in oil. Topped off with plenty of coconut milk. It's a shame I didn't have any cashew nuts or laksa leaves!

Last night, I made HK Swiss sauce marinated chicken thighs to pair with white rice, tomatoes, cucumbers, and seaweed salad. I also made a lovely stock from the leftover bones and spices: caramellized bones, bloomed cinnamon stick and star anise. Add to that, bay leaves, shallots, ginger, garlic, green onions, and a bit of Shaoxing wine.

I'm thinking of making calamari tomorrow to help finish up some leftover bean sprouts for kongnamool and leftover lettuce. And then perhaps revisiting oven-roasted Tandoori chicken the next night.

I'm gonna drop by tomorrow and I'll also take a raincheck on the other meals ... sound so yummy. Thanks for the invite. ;)
I'm more worried that at some point gamers might get turned into junk food themselves.
In my gaming room, tea no sugar/honey only.

In the living room, I like warmed and salted snap peas with some ice cold water.

In the backyard HTPC, chances are we BBQing so when the hands are going to be off the controller - Whiskey BBQed chicken, some beyond meat burgers and roasted brussell sprouts.
Coffee with soy milk all morning until noon
Tea with soy milk in the afternoon
Ice Water in the late afternoon and evening

For solid stuff, it's whatever happens to be around the house and who did the grocery shopping.

There's one household member where I swear that all she brings back is some variation of candy, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup. If she's really feeling up to it, she'll also bring back potato chips, ice cream, and cake.

soy milk? I would stay far away from that
is she fat from all those candies?
Nothing specific but nowadays either leftovers or a fruit, maybe a carrot, some cold water. I wish I had known about how much food, sleep and exercise influence health and moods in my teen years..

I'm at the very severe end of lactose intolerance. Cow milk works like an extra strength laxative. I dislike the taste of nut milk and oat milk.

As for the household member with the sugar diet, no she's not fat. Even though she a disproportionate amount of candy, she is somehow able to manage it. For example - yesterday she skipped breakfast, then had food with a nutritional value for lunch and a pint of Chunky Monkey ice cream for dinner.
