Rodzaju: I've started going back through this season's games to see if it is all in my head or if my luck really is that bad...
I've only watched the first game so far, against Dodo.
Now I remember this as one of my best games of the season.
I certainly did well out of the kick off events.
of the 7, 5 favoured me & the other 2 were neutral.
Rerolls worked well for both of us.
Of Dodo's 6 rerolls, 5 worked.
I made 14 rerolls (including skill rerolls) & 13 worked.
Ball handling stats were unexpected.
My memory has me constantly failing to pick up the ball.
It's one of the things that really bugs me.
With AG 3/4 I can never seem to pick up the ball, often with a reroll.
However, in this game, I made 10 ball handling attempts (pick up, pass, catch).
7 of them worked.
In contrast, Dodo tried 13 times & failed 8 of them.
The other big surprise was that I made 30 GFI attempts.
I can't remember the last time I had the confidence to try something like that!!
Of those 30, 7 failed.
Dodo only tried twice, but succeded both times.
I made 7 dodges & fell twice.
Dodo tried 4 times & failed once.
When it comes to the fight, there wasn't much in it, but neither of us did well at breaking armour.
Dodo threw 45 blocks.
7 were skulls & 31 were pows.
He broke my armour 7 times, for 5 stuns, 1KO & a MNG (apo'd to BH.
I threw 58 blocks.
6 skulls & 44 pows.
But still only 9 armour breaks (so much for that 70% figure, Mafia! )
7 stuns, 1 KO & a BH.
So I had good luck with kick off, rerolls, ball handling,
I did badly at breaking armour.
Later, I will see if these trends continue.
Welcome to the wonderful world of stochasitic and that something like "luck" is an entirely subjective concept. You might think you have bad luck or good luck but it merely is an interpretation of random numbers. You can get certain strings of succesful or unsuccesful events happening in a row but this is what "randomness" is all about. You are as likely to get 1000 failed throws in a row as to get a 1000 succesful ones.
