I just took a look at the ranking and noticed that I seem to be the litmus paper of the league. With the exception of Nagarythe Decadence, I won against the teams that are currently ranked below me, tied against the ones in my immediate vicinity, and lost against those currently above me.

This does not bide well for the last two matches of the season ...

Dwarves, Necromantic and Dark Elves to end the season...

*cracks knuckles*

I want that postseason, but I've got a lot of work ahead to get there.
Just played my match against MafiaK1.

In the beginning the dices clearly favoured MafiaK1, Inflicting 2 pretty early injuries on a dwarv and bullcent.
Nobody was able to score during the first half. He nearly managed to score in the second half but made a stupid mistake allowing me to get the ball of my touchdownline.

All in all it ended in a draw.

Replay: http://wikisend.com/download/408362/Weekly_S2_D1_R11_Morb-MafiaK1.db
the first attempt to play stopped while i was in turn 4 and had already 4 of morbs player down ( 3 hurt ) thx to my bb client which has just crashed.

After the rehost i was still lucky but not like the first try :D

and again i lost to my greedy self and it ended 0 0
Mefet's dice in this one were unbelievable, while I got completely nuffled again.
I mean, seriously, against a team of almost everyone AV7, how hard can it be to hurt them?
Even on a foul with 3 assists I couldn't break that AV7...
AND I get sent off.
I managed 1 badly hurt all game.
I couldn't dodge.
I couldn't pick up the ball.
I couldn't gfi.

He did start to roll a few ones around turn 14, when it was far too late to make any difference.

I honestly am starting to wonder why I bother to play these days.

Game ended 1-1.

sorry to say it like that rod but you are the last one who should complain about luck

in your 11 games you received 9 times?
u won 95% of every event,
u need like 5% of your rerolls for blocks,
the armor breaks like 70%,
if some of your players get a injury the apo is there for you
and if im not wrong your krox even likes to reroll without a fail

i watched alot of games btw ;)

Probably, but some people like to kick
u won 95% of every event,
I haven't checked, but I don't believe this for a second
u need like 5% of your rerolls for blocks,
It's more that I need 95% for picking up the ball...
the armor breaks like 70%,
Again, I'm not at all confident in this figure.
if some of your players get a injury the apo is there for you
Sometimes
and if im not wrong your krox even likes to reroll without a fail
it happens, but then so does bonehead...

i watched alot of games btw ;)
You know Rod, a break from a game never hurt anyone. If you're feeling bored or frustrated, aka NOT having fun.... why not step away for a while?

c'mon your team is still alive and ready to eat your next opponent, never mind the actual match result - thats already pretty good for Nuffle driven game like this :)
I've started going back through this season's games to see if it is all in my head or if my luck really is that bad...

I've only watched the first game so far, against Dodo.
Now I remember this as one of my best games of the season.

I certainly did well out of the kick off events.
of the 7, 5 favoured me & the other 2 were neutral.

Rerolls worked well for both of us.
Of Dodo's 6 rerolls, 5 worked.
I made 14 rerolls (including skill rerolls) & 13 worked.

Ball handling stats were unexpected.
My memory has me constantly failing to pick up the ball.
It's one of the things that really bugs me.
With AG 3/4 I can never seem to pick up the ball, often with a reroll.
However, in this game, I made 10 ball handling attempts (pick up, pass, catch).
7 of them worked.
In contrast, Dodo tried 13 times & failed 8 of them.

The other big surprise was that I made 30 GFI attempts.
I can't remember the last time I had the confidence to try something like that!!
Of those 30, 7 failed.
Dodo only tried twice, but succeded both times.

I made 7 dodges & fell twice.
Dodo tried 4 times & failed once.

When it comes to the fight, there wasn't much in it, but neither of us did well at breaking armour.
Dodo threw 45 blocks.
7 were skulls & 31 were pows.
He broke my armour 7 times, for 5 stuns, 1KO & a MNG (apo'd to BH.

I threw 58 blocks.
6 skulls & 44 pows.
But still only 9 armour breaks (so much for that 70% figure, Mafia! )
7 stuns, 1 KO & a BH.

So I had good luck with kick off, rerolls, ball handling,
I did badly at breaking armour.

Later, I will see if these trends continue.

Well, my dice were incredibly good in the first half, but in the second half were incredibly bad. I got like 4 or five turnovers, two or three of them one after another in the first movement.
And you broke my armor several times, but sometimes they were just stunned.
All in all, I expected worse, so I wouldn't complain.
But seriously, the second half I had horrible luck.

Welcome to the wonderful world of stochasitic and that something like "luck" is an entirely subjective concept. You might think you have bad luck or good luck but it merely is an interpretation of random numbers. You can get certain strings of succesful or unsuccesful events happening in a row but this is what "randomness" is all about. You are as likely to get 1000 failed throws in a row as to get a 1000 succesful ones.

Our match is the next one up...
Rod, E_A is using BB manager to have a look at the stats of some games. He did it for me and my game against NoHit and confirmed that I was indeed as lucky as I felt.
Maybe he already ran some of your games through the program and can tell you the stats.

I just watch the game log.

Maybe I've just been playing too much.

8 regular league games a week & in the past month, I can think of 3 games when the dice were kind to me...
