The match between Psyringe Wood Elves and my dwarves ended in a tie 1-1.
It was a weird match for both of us I think. Psyringe scored early even after kicking, taking advantage of my runner being unable to pick the ball from the floor. That made the death roller completely useless, as the referee didn't remember that he has accepted my money earlier :P. That with a dead blitzer (again) left me losing and with few options to tie, even if I was with one more player at the begining of the second half.

I was able to slowly lower the number of elves in the second half, with allowed me, thanks to a skull-block for the elves and a good amount of luck to tie the game.

Runic Sleeping Pills vs Natural Disaster ended 1-1. Fair draw, imho, though it does feel like a loss to me, since Mefet scored the equalizer in his last turn.

At the beginning of the match, Mefet had lots of bad rolls. Inefficient blocks, skulls, failed pick-up, the like. My new Wardancer, Twiggy Branches, actually managed to kill a dwarven blitzer. Consequently, I scored early, when the Sleeping Pills were too dozy to protect the ball that they had failed to pick up.

I had a chance for scoring again at the end of the first half, but Twiggy failed a crucial catch. I also managed to KO one of my own players while trying to crowd-surf a dwarf. I thought I would be able to choose a destination for him, but I misremembered the rules, and he was beaten up by the crowd.

The second half was rather unspectacular. Two of my players passed the ball back and forth at my end of the pitch, while the dwarves quite successfully managed to keep all potential pass receivers down on the ground. When the end draw near, I saw a chance to crowd-surf one of the dwarves, and made a two-dice block with an 89% chance of success. It failed, and left Mefet in a good position to sack my ball carrier. I tried to repair the damage, but kept failing dodges and GFIs, so it didn't work, even though the ball landed in a favorable position for me.

In the end, I think we both played equally well, and the tie is a fair result.

Lizards vs Dwarvs now beginning

The match between Dead Eye Berserkers and rioting Punks was won 2-0 by DEB.

Rioting Punks lined up to beat its opponent and did it well. Berserkers had couple of good opportunities and luck to flank Punks line to score though.

Berserkers were really lucky because they had no serious injuries or deaths this time. Minotaur merc helped a lot. Without it the outcome wouldn't have been the same.

The game is evil. Evil, I say.

you had crapload of double ones in the first half that i watched - after that junior coach pulled off the plug, literally.

Welcome to my ENTIRE SEASON.

Ah, that wasn't problem, I forgot about those already.
It was because the game gave me hope that I can win (or not lose) which is more than I hoped for itstarted and then it took it all away from me.
I managed to not concede in first half with solid defense, even if I was short one saurus most of match, and I in the end I even got the ball although there was no chance for me to score and I lost it again.
In the second half I started great getting myself in good position to score. Hanno delayed it for one turn by two dodges (without dodge) and blitzing my carrier. I recovered ball, and was need only one damn GFI to score. Of course my skink stumbled over touchdown line, the ball bounced off field and got thrown-in on the other side of pitch where I had almost nobody (with everyone tied down on top of it) and Hanno half of his team. Since then it was only me crying and trying to do anything. I actually managed to get hold of it once again with red dices blitzing skink, when Hanno was stalling, but he was there alone and surrounded by 4 or 5 dwarves so it was vain.

So it isn't that I had horrible match overall with game crewing me right and left.
It is becaus I expected little from this match (Hanno won everything so far and I am doing poorly against bashy teams and mainly dwarves) and if it went that way, I wouldn't be disappointed so much.
But the game let me feel like I can get something from this match and then in the very last moment, when I finally had my hopes up, it took it all from me in one sweep.

The best part about this match was that there were almost no injuries. I had one MNG on Saurus (on turn 2) and one BH on Skink. Hanno had only 1 MNG, inflicted by my star skink.

The game between myself and Kanarek shall be starting shortly

My Black Orcs couldnt keep up with the pace being down two blitzers, one to injury and one ejected for an ill Advised Foul attempt.

Kanarek played well, and I had quite a few players out of position at crucial points in the game.

We just ended a really bloody match .. 3 Dead guys .. 2 where rescued by the sani .. so "just" my troll stayed dead .. did someone say something about regeneration ?? :(

Nevertheless ..between all the bashing and smashing my orks managed to score two touchdowns .. but i would trade ´em for a troll if i could ..

The roaring rampage strikes again..

With a 1-0 victory, we inflicted 7 injuries on the opponent's team, 3 of which regenerated.

The undead were just SP farm for my dwarves.

MVP however, went to Gimly whom took a block from a ghoul, and was struck right in the arm. He would have lost a str, but the Apothecary had the bright idea to switch the bone from his neck to his arm, causing him to suffer a -1 agility instead.

When woken after the anaesthesia, he commented that he was disappointed, and would soon leave the team in shame.

Also, I FINALLY DIDN"T ROLL a 1 FOR MY WINNINGS! Yay
