Piranjade: Keep in mind that the Really Stupid roll gets easier if you have a Goblin standing directly next to your troll. Instead of a 4+ you then only need to roll a 2+ for the troll to not be really stupid.
avatar
JudasIscariot: I don't know... I played some Nurgle games and I had TWO dudes standing next to my Beast of Nurgle and he STILL managed to fail the roll :/
you get the bonus for only one guy.

so its 50% (4+) if troll/beast is by itself and 83% (2+) if one or more non-stupid players stand next to him.

In a match that clearly presented two rookie teams that still have a lot to learn, Amaz'n Craze won 1-0 against the Striking Shoggoths. Replay is here.

The beginning of the match is worth a look, since the Nurgle displayed a severe personal identity disorder. Apparently they thought they were elves, and passed and caught balls as if there's nothing to it. This includes an AG2 Nurgle Warrior catching a medium range pass without any problems. However, strangely enough, as soon as their unexpected passing skills had put them into an advantageous position, their ball carrier suffered from a fit of anxiety and retreated back to his team mates.

The 'zons sacked the Nurgle ball carrier several times, but the ball was not their friend. It kept scattering away into Nurgle hands, or into the most disadvantageous direction. Later on, it would jump away from simple pick-ups and hand-overs. However, an over-confident Nurgle pass allowed the 'zons to gain possession on the opponent's side of the pitch, and from there they managed top secure a touchdown.

The second half saw the 'zon cage trying to break through the Nurgle defenses, but there weren't enough Amazons left to push free. When there was finally an opportunity to break through and score a second touchdown, the ball jumped away from another hand-over.

In the end, the 'zons are happy about the victory, and also happy that no apothecary was needed (we played the first match without one in order to finance more positionals). Some players bemoaned the lack of tentacles on the Nurgle side, though. As the game's sole scorer Zonic Zoe put it: "We thought we'd be facing something interesting on the pitch, but all we met were sick, stinking males with no regard for personal hygiene. We can easily have that at home, we don't need to enter a Blood Bowl pitch for that."

oh, i cant promise tentacles - but something equally chaotic next week. You know demons, horns, guts, brains and br..blood all over the places. The usual ;)
5 - 0 in favor of the Anti-Puff Party.

Things didn't look good when Mojo-Jojo(Thrower) broke his leg trying to kick someone in the face on turn 3, but Sedusa and Princess Morbucks(Wardancers), with the help of HIM (Catcher), took control of the game. If they touched the ball, you can bet they were leaping, dodging, or throwing their way to a touchdown.

I can only hope all of my games go this well for me. I suspect not.

"Demons" sounds interesting, but the mention of "horns" suggests that we will just meet the worthless male variant of the species. Ah well, should make it easier for us. Males are like animals, they can't control themselves. Even without a proper mistress to guide them, they are still ... slaves ... to their own fits of frenzy.

Though you also mentioned brains, which kind of contradicts the presence of males.

Well, we will see.
With last match of R1 having been player - > We are now on round 2!

As usual, having been this fast this simply means we have two extra days for for R2.

In hindsight i find this amusing. Not a single injury after 16 rounds of nonstop blocking.

Score is 1-0 for the Khemri, Nuffle sure had it in for E_A this match.

Males ... members of the league for a mere week, and already they are on their knees begging for alms ... ;)
Khorne... Not only males but they also have a wingman. :-D

well, khorne is mostly about stuff like blood, skulls, blood, skulls and some blood on top of those - i suppose he doesnt really care from which team those come from - so just putting the team full of frenzy^2 with nothing else seems to suit him just fine ;)

...as caring coach i disagree - but not f2f with him.
