I don't know if you can remove teams from the league or if we have to dismiss them. I'll find out.)

After 3.5 hours and 24 turns, Hope Hymn of Amaz'n Craze scored the sole touchdown of the match. With a 1-0 victory over the Cheesemongerz, the Amazons take the crown of season 4! *dance* :)

This was a very interesting match. The first half saw both teams going for a quick touchdown, but none succeeded. Piranjade's leaping runner Babybel jumped over my entire defense line and dodged into open space, ready to score, but my block rolls during this phase of the match were phenomenal, and I downed him. Grabbing the ball, I then went for a quick break, but lost the ball during a hand-over deep in Piran's half. The match went back and forth, and at the end of the half I almost scored a touchdown ... but the last GFI failed.

The second half was extremely tough. I set up for another quick break, but (just as in the semi final), we again rolled a "perfect defense" event, so I had to change plans. I set up a cage deep in my half, and the rest of the match consisted of moving very, very slowly forward. I had a lot of respect for Piran's runners, so I played very carefully, and reckoned that I would get my chances if I just played carefully and perhaps removed one or two of her players. And that's pretty much what happened, though she certainly didn't make it easy for me!

After lots of turns in which neither of us managed to get the upper hand, I finally broke through the defenses and scored in turn 24. Piranjade jokingly called my team "female dwarves", and indeed that's very much how I played them in the second half. (No beards though! Amazons don't have beards!)

Heh, well if you consider it - that cage-grind lasted whole 16 turns :D

I was bit surprised how the AV7 of both teams acted like AV10 until the very end.

Yeah, I wonder if we broke some sort of league record. ;) If not the longest drive, then perhaps the longest time of carrying the ball - my thrower grabbed it in turn 9, and held unto it until scoring in turn 24. ;)

It was a pretty boring tactic from my side, to be honest, but it worked. I simply figured that a Skaven team would have a hard time breaking a cage with 6 Blodgers (of which 3 also had Guard) and 4 Dodgers (one having Guard as well), and I knew that the drive would go on until somebody scored, so I took my time and didn't make many risky moves.

Me too. Given the amount of "Pow" that we both rolled (especially me, I rolled way more than I should have), it was amazing how long it took to get even one player off the pitch.

The Pink Pests have been submitted to the league, and eagerly await their mauling.

If I've jumped the gun and submitted a bit too early, I apologise.
