And the time has come to announce the winner of the third edition of the GOG GOTY!

The GOG GOTY 2024 is Drova - Forsaken Kin!

Yes, Drova not only won the title of Best RPG 2024, but was also voted the best title overall of 2024!

I must admit that I didn't expect this, but its victory is clear and GOG users really enjoyed this title, at least the majority of those who voted!

This indie game managed to beat out such big guns as God of War, one of the few games Sony has granted us on GOG, and Alpha Protocol, which won the category of Best Good Old Game, but didn't elicit the same preferences in this category. Resident Evil couldn't do anything this time either, although I'm sure it has its large fan base.

And that's it, or almost, because I would like to release the usual final summary poster in the coming days.

Thanks again to all the voters!

Thank you for your hard work in doing this.
Thanks again for your hard work on this thread!
I expected most of the results, but Drova has been a great surprise for me. The game hadn't caught my attention before but now it has a preeminent place on my wishlist.
May GOGbear bring many blessings upon you, Alexim :)
Hats off to Alexim!
Many thanks for the perfect organizing the vote - so much time and hard work :)

GOG GOTY is always a good opportunity to learn about interesting, unknown games that have caught the attention of the goglodytes. And so it was this time: I added some great titles to my wishlist.
Thanks again for your hard work! I will add some games to my wishlist :-)
Thanks Alexim for putting in all the hard work. A couple of surprise wins for sure. Especially GOTY! I'm gonna have to wishlist Drova now to see why it's so good.

Lets be sure to do this again next near. :)
Many thanks Alexim, your time and effort are appreciated.

It's an interesting list of winners for 2024. Some I expected, others I did not. Most of the titles I voted for didn't make it to the top but it's nice to see what the preferences of the many are.
Also this voting brought to my attention SKALD: Against the Black Priory which I somehow missed it's release, but now wishlisted.
