Alexim: I haven't seen this news reported anywhere else, who is this Xtreem, and what actual evidence does he have?
Your question reminded me of this:

No wonder this particular episode won an Emmy award back in the day.

The only thing i know is this; https://gamerant.com/major-playstation-to-pc-ports-list-leak/, the rest you will have to contact Xtreem, the Steam user with all the leaks about the games and stuff. What i have put you up there are the ones reported by the news that are coming soon.
If you wanna know more you will have to ask him yourself on Steam,he is the one that knows what stuff is coming and what may come later.

If true -- and if the games aren't riddled with "spyware" -- this sounds great.

I've spoken many times here about preferring consoles for gaming and PCs for work...

... but...

... recent console shenanigans have pushed me back toward PC (specifically Sony's shenanigans).

If most quality 3rd party console games make it to PC and most of the best of Sony's 1st party games come to PC as well, I'll have no regrets -- although the question remains:

will Sony continue bringing games to GOG?
Does God of War 2018 make sense if you never played the older ones?

Looking forward to Last of Us if this is accurate. I love stealth games. I wish a Killzone collection was on the list, as I love sci-fi and FPS games work well on the PC obviously. Oh well.

ALAKAZAM1: Here are leaks playstation exclusives coming to pc;
Spring 2021 Days Gone
Fall 2021 The last of Us
Summer 2022 God of War (2018)
Winter 2022 Spider Man (2018)
Spring 2023 Uncharted Collection
Fall 2023 Ghost of Tsushima
Summer 2024 Gran Turismo Sport
Winter 2024 Bloodborne

Original publication(and all credit)by Xtreem(on Steam)
Fuck I have to wait 3 years for Bloodborne?!

Goddamn it.

ALAKAZAM1: ...
Of course the one that interest me are the one that will take the most time to be released (i.e. Tsushima and Bloodborne). I do find those dates a little strange. I doubt Bloodborne would be the hardest one to port and it's the oldest one, so why release it last ?

I also hope that they will someday release the, IMHO, "real" (I could even say good) God of Wars games, even if most of them are playable on emulators, having a native PC version would be nice.
Yeah that sounds like Sony, leave their best game (in fact their only truly great must play game) to last. One red flag I see here that makes me question this list is GT Sport in 2024...why do a PC Port of a 7 year old (by that time) E-Sport racer? It only makes sense if they're planning a new Gt Sport and that's the one that will come to PC.

StingingVelvet: Does God of War 2018 make sense if you never played the older ones?
Yes, it's a soft reboot / sequel sort, as in, it's technically a direct sequel of the previous games, but it kind of "reboot" in a totally different settings (North mythology instead of Greek one). The gameplay and pacing is also totally different, the old GoW are fast paced, very aggressive, beat them all with a couple of very basic puzzles, while the 2018 is more your average run-of-the-mill third person action adventure with a much slower pacing a lot more walking around and cinematics.

Yes, there is no need to have played any of the other games... although a particular in-game reveal might not have quite as much impact if you haven't played earlier entries... but that reveal isn't integral to enjoyment of the game.

Yeah, Killzone 4, Dragon's Crown, and the Shadow of the Colossus re-make are missing from the list.

BTW, if you like Killzone, FPS, post-apocalyptic games, and have access to a PS3, play Resistance 3. Brilliant shooter IMHO

Seems Sony may be seeing delivering last-gen 1st party games to PC as a way to drive current-gen console sales. Could be a good thing...

... although I'm probably done with consoles after PS4. When I heard of the possibility of physical discs being "locked" should they not be able to get a "response" from Sony servers, my enthusiasm for console games, diminished greatly. If a physical disc has the potential of being unplayable, then physical has lost its point

Shadowstalker16: Interesting games for me are Bllodborne (winter 2024) and Ghost of Tsushima (fall 2023). Considering the trajectory of our fine species today, I doubt we'll see either.
This.

I believe it was meant as a joke. You know, Bloodborne is a Souls-like game, FromSoftware and all that...

Well, the suicide is only serious problem of philosophy according to Albert Camus, but I am rarely serious. I just like black and (in this case) self depreciating humor.
