nla09126: Hi everyone. Sorry for the boring introduction. But I'm having a problem with last gift game from gog. It's Vambrace: Cold Soul. I get a message (Success!: Reloaded was added to your library.
You can manage your consents in Privacy & settings section of your GOG account.) But the game itself is not in the library at all. I didn't even click on it to get it. I just found the message without the get game button.....Is there any solution?...and thank you
You should have received an email saying it has been added to your library. if not, try logging in and out and try to claim it again :)

For claiming giveaways, there is another link that a forum member posted about that i had not known about.

For people having trouble claiming giveaways, this might help as well:

1. Clear the cookies in your browser for gog.com only.

Firefox - Clear Cookies for a Single Website

Chrome - Clear Cookies for a Single Website

Microsoft Edge - Clear Cookies for a Single Website

2. Close your browser.

3. Flush Your DNS Cache using CMD / Command Prompt.

4. Re-open your browser.

5. Re-open https://www.gog.com.

6. Log into your GOG account as normal.

7. Click on the game’s giveaway and claim the game as normal.

Happens to me too now, always ... probably due to the Brave browser I use (Chrome clone).

I either fire up Opera and grab it with that browser, or I just use the following link.

https://www.gog.com/giveaway/claim

That gives me a blank browser tab or window, with [] as text at top left.
I then go to Orders & settings, to confirm I got the game, plus continue onto Subscriptions to cancel (de-select) the GOG Partners checkbox.

Give the DuckDuckGo browser/search engines a try. Better than the Brave browser, and the Google search engine is utter bollocks.

I've been using Duck Duck Go search engine instead of Google for many years.

I'm yet to try their browser though, for two reasons - They require you to download a downloader to then download it. And you need windows 11.

I use Brave primarily because I have found it to be the lightest browser when it comes to resources, and quicker to load web pages on this old PC. I also have Comodo IceDragon installed, supposedly the Firefox clone equivalent. I prefer Brave. When I need to, I get by okay with Opera, and its free VPN like aspect has been helpful many times.
My kupuna kept his Gateway 386 PC, mostly as a paper weight, but used to regale me about the joys of MS DOS, and adding a sound card or additional memory by mounting chips on the motherboard. That was after the Commodore and TRS 80 days no less! But the idea of keypunches and card readers for IBM 360 use is Stone Age! He said looking out the window of the Uni computing center as a EE student no less and seeing a T-Rex was uber droll. LOL
