Glad you liked it. I would really enjoy other people posting some of their local bands :). If there's one thing I've learned in my time here it's that there's unknown beauty in all parts the world.

The song revolves around a local holiday of old - here's some context. In local mythology/folklore, on that particular night the "forest fairies" or sanziene come out to play and people are rumored to be able to find their true love, the one they are designed for. The song argues that perhaps not all of these fairies are good natured and may lead people astray as well if not pacified by the calmness and beauty of nature.

I still remember a similar feeling after listening to Mago de Oz :). Would love to listen to other Spanish metal bands if you have examples to share.

Here's a new one from a Greek band called Need. If you're into prog metal (not the blabbering style - a la Dream Theater, but prog with essence - a la Fates Warning) then you'll definitely like this.

Mago de Oz is the kind of band that you either love it or hate it... and I can't count myself among the ones who love it... but they still have some really good songs, tho.

I'll share three barely known bands that are worth listening:

Tierra Santa Heavy/Power Metal. Lyrics in Spanish.
Elffor One-man Atmospheric/Symphonic Black Metal. Lyrics in English and Euskara (Basque).
Aeolian Melodic Death Metal. Lyrics in English.

That's fine - I can't say I'm a fan of the entirety of their work either, but as you said, they have some really good songs.

I'm rarely into Black Metal of any sort, but I have to say this is very interesting... if you say a single man is behind this I am honestly impressed.

I might have actually found a second Black Metal band I like. The first being:

Here's an old blast form the past, anyone old enough to remember Hear N' Aid? The Band Aid of heavy metal. Formed and lead by the late great Ronnie James Dio the videos worth watching alone just to see how many of the 80's best metal musicians you can pick out in the crowd.
