P.S.: I would hope all people, especially historians, refrain from using the word "modern" in anything. It's only modern until it isn't. 500 years from now, people will look back to the "modern" society of today and say: "You mean they had no programmable medical nanites? Had to get vaccinated and go to the doctor? How barbaric!"
