MorningStar33: Still broken here.
I'm sure there will be an announcement when it's fixed. Until then I guess the only thing to do is bump this thread from time to time so others will notice it before making their own.

chevkoch: If they'll implement it as a feature, it might never work as intended again though.

thomq: Do you mean that a feature for purposely randomly sorting the list might break and that the list would end up always sorted non-randomly? I suppose that could happen on the GOG website… Such a result could be real interesting to see happen.

Will we need to start a wishlist item for "purposely random sorting" to get that going? They might actually mark it completed right now, so might oughta wait for them to fix it first.
Right, it's almost like you can't expect straightforward solutions when we've learned from past experience to take into consideration it is GOG that's doing the repairs, along the lines of "wait, what else could break if this gets touched?".
You know I love GOG but it's a damn shame this is still an issue nearly what 5 days later now? Especially that they left it like that over the weekend knowing a pretty significant bug was unfixed (it is signficiant in the sense that it makes people think their games are missing).

Think Valve would have done that? Most likey not, they would have paid somebody overtime to get it fixed.

As of yesterday I've started to experience this and obviously i'm not the only one.
I've never experienced anything like this anywhere else before, had the library sorted by purchase date and now its all just a random mess. Having hard time finding anything.

Hope someone FIX THIS as soon as possible!

Fix this and bring back manual sorting!!

Or maybe they didn't leave it that way, maybe it just needs that much more work...

That is also probably a valid point. GOG seems really hard up for developers. Shame it requires moving to Poland. I would apply in a second for a Junior PHP or Junior Software Engineer position. Can't say I haven't put some thought into it... but having never been outside the USA that would be a huge move.

For those of you that use Adalia Fundamentals, if you use the 'Manual' sorting option in the library settings, your library is sorted correctly. Not a fix, but at least a good workaround.
The same has happened to me. I was worried for a bit that some of games had disappeared.
Happens for me too in the last two, three days. So far I'm not convinced that no poltergeist is involved...

I'm using adalia fundamentals, but for me it doesn't matter whether I set the order to "Gog" or "Manual", my games are still out of order.
So that's why my catalog isn't showing the games properly. Recently purchased 2 games and when i returned to the library after the purchase they were somewhat in the middle instead of on top. By default i have set it to purchase date and that's since i joined gog. Games were always showed in the order of the latest purchased game on top and first one at the last page. Now it's more mixed, as if a hard storm blew through it. Kinda annoying. Hope it get fixed soon.
I don't want to sound overly dramatic, but I'm honestly shocked that this still isn't fixed.
I don't know if someone posted this, but it seems that the list is divided into pages in the right order (i.e. Page 1 - A-D, Page 2 - D-F and so on). But after initial sorting and dividing into pages the showcase itself inside the page is randomized.
