It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I checked it again and the "purchase date" order is still messed up.

skimmie: For those of you that use Adalia Fundamentals, if you use the 'Manual' sorting option in the library settings, your library is sorted correctly. Not a fix, but at least a good workaround.

groundhog42: I'm using adalia fundamentals, but for me it doesn't matter whether I set the order to "Gog" or "Manual", my games are still out of order.
...Huh. This is weird. After I read your reply, I tried again. It's not working for me now, either. There's a big difference between my previous test and this one though; this afternoon I tested on my laptop through the Palemoon browser (Firefox derivative). The current test was done on my PC with Opera as browser. Maybe it's browser dependent or something?
such a bug still around after more than a week and no updates from the staff on the issue -- I will have to say I am a bit disheartened.

Maybe they'll be implementing a whole new site.

Welp, looks like this bug just got kicked up a notch from "major nuisance"-tier to "This should NOT be happening!"-tier: People's games ARE starting to disappear. When I checked my library yesterday, I had a feeling like the number of games I own used to be higher. Turns out Softporn Adventure is missing from some libraries. Now I check the library again and the number has again decreased by one game. Hell if I know which game got eaten up this time around...
I'm so glad everyone is having a similar problem, despite how obscure my title is (thank you forum police).

Rest easy over the fact that I initially created this thread with a light heart for myself, so a robotic, stiff title such as 'oh no, my account keeps shuffling randomly every time I access it' was never my intention. If people find it difficult realising my thread's content, then so be it. If people wish to forward other members to this thread, that's really their own problem. Until a proper 'forum/galaxy bugs' subforum is implemented I'll create future similar threads at my volition should the need arise.

It's great to be back; this place hasn't changed AT ALL.
As of today, my account joined the dance of musical chairs as well. I didn't read all of the replies, has anyone found/mentioned a solution or workaround yet?

I try to keep my games 'tidy' with an obsessive will to keep all games of a same series bought at the same time on a single 5-box row when sorted by purchase date, by selectively hiding or unhiding games so that it 'fits', but right now, there's nothing I can do.

Apparently adalia fundamentals is a possibility, otherwise no.

XenoBiker: I don't know if someone posted this, but it seems that the list is divided into pages in the right order (i.e. Page 1 - A-D, Page 2 - D-F and so on). But after initial sorting and dividing into pages the showcase itself inside the page is randomized.
That's not my case. I just loaded a page to make sure it's still acting more or less like it did a few days back, and, while I don't know my whole library, I noticed 1nsane, 99 levels and Afterlife were all missing from the first page, and it had already moved on to titles starting with "B"

[EDIT]
I think was mistaken before. After several reloads, I think you are right. Each time, one and only one game starting with "C" was on the first page, Caesar 3. The same is true for each pageful of 100 -- it always ends with the same game, and it's the right one alphabetically. And there are the right number of games left over on page 8.

So it looks like they are all there on the right pages, but not correctly sorted on the page. I'm guessing I just skimmed the list too quickly and missed them before.

This has been going on for about a week. It doesn't matter which sort criterion is chosen, the resulting order is largely random, and it affects the order both in a browser and in GOG Galaxy. I thought maybe I had more games than it could handle, but someone said they had over a hundred and I'm nowhere near that many. Reloading the page only changes the random order and sometimes the sort criterion, it does not fix the order.
So, this thread is already a week old. Has anyone from GOG staff even bothered to make an appearance and declare themselves yet?

I can't make heads or tails from a Library sorted by Title where "Banished" follows "World of Goo".

May it is companion to their hidden in plain sight sale, where they make you see games had you bought years before and didn't play.

It's a "feature" promoting the "Hidden in Plain Sight" promo? Just started here as well... annoying ><

Come on GOG. You really need to get proactive about this. Not saying it needs to be "fixed" ASAP (although it should be) but I am saying it should be ADDRESSED ASAP. As in, make some sort of announcement on the forums that GOG is aware of the problem, is working on the problem, and possibly explain what the problem is.

I don't know what's happening here over the past couple of years but as a very long and very good customer I can tell you that you guys are losing "street cred" every day. You need to be more pro-active with your customers. The way you used to be.

Please note, I'm not saying this to be critical or make you look bad. On the contrary, I very much like GOG and want it to succeed. That's why I'm saying this. IMO you ignore at your own peril. Make an announcement of some sort.
