GOG, the reason a lot of us shop here is because you don`t throw politics in our face. Having a "Pride Month" selection is clearly doing so. For what its worth, I am not going to buy as many games here anymore because of the role you are playing in spreading political propaganda and normalizing this behavior in a forum where children could be exposed to it. If possible, I will stick to places like steam that do not throw the politics of their HR manager in the face of their customers.

Sad.

Steam has a similar thing going on. Just letting you know.
Or at the very least be open to all all types of x-day/month, like Armistice Day, Veteran's Day, Holocaust Remembrance Day, World Environment Day ... and why not Day of the Seafarer, International Asteroid Day, International Day of the Celebration of the Solstice, World Bicycle Day, Global Day of Parents (these are all real by the way).

Yep:
- https://store.steampowered.com/tags/en/LGBTQ%2B/
- https://kotaku.com/steam-finally-adds-official-lgbtq-tag-for-games-1835703942

Also, by GOG's user agreement, you have to be 16+ to use the store, website, and forums. And if you are < 18 years old, you should've gotten your parent or guardian's permission to use GOG's services. So there's no children here to be concerned about and if there were, that's the parent or guardians' responsibility.

I'd say that's exactly the point: to show how ridiculous it can get when you start pandering to every single division humanity can invent.

Steam had a pride sale, promoted said sale and had it on their front page.

GOG had a pride collection, did nothing to promote it or talk about it.

By your logic, you would surely be happier with GOG than Steam?

Also, before it ends, Happy Pride month

Despite what the tiny percentage of extremist political activists who will jump on this comment will say, signing in from ten accounts that they have created for their activism (they have lots of free time you see, as they don`t actually play games) -there are a lot more of me then there are of them.

Good luck with your strategy of marketing games to radical leftist activists who don`t buy games anyways.

Sad.
I think you are taking this too seriously, I know everything is political, but I don't know if they are doing this with the intention of "convert" someone or make them gays, it's something like "here we have some games if you are LGBT+ that maybe you will find some representation or themes that you may found interesting".

I think the piont was basically if you do abit then go all in not just a tiny bit.. you know don't be selective on what to and not to promote or whatever

thats how takeover starts
first it is just a little nothing then each year a little more , and before you realize they took over and want to throw you out

I mean, I agree that you can't celebrate pride then actively try to bury it to avoid backlash (seems the complete opposite reason of pride from what I understand and learnt throughout the years), but hey I'm sure they have reasons.
