The sound of defiance.

The Lion's Song is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com. Get it 30% off until January 15, 2PM UTC.
Austria, early 20th century. Wilma, a young composer of incredible talent, must fight society's prejudice and her own demons while struggling to complete her magnum opus. Told through minimalistic, sepia-kissed pixel art and wonderful music, this evocative adventure spans four episodes (all included), each featuring several player-made choices that will dictate the remaining story and its final outcome.
Nice to see we still get releases, even during a mini sale.

Hooray! I was just thinking that I need something pixelated and entirely devoid of colour to make my eyes bleed.
Yeah! A wish comes true.
Thanks & Danke GOG and Mi'pu'mi Games.
Adventures are always welcome. And I like the artstyle.
I wish I was Sepia-kissed.

Nice! I recently downloaded the free 1st episode using SteamCMD but it turned out to need the client to run. Luckily I'll be able to get the entire story totally DRM-free now. :)

Fascinating. How negative does this tribulation of yours score in the World Problems scale, you'd reckon?

Instabought.

I asked them for a drm-free version of it a while ago, but I didn't think GOG would accept a small beautiful artistic niche game like this. Especially with the Breja's of this world polluting release threads with their whining :P.

Looks pretty neat, esp. if the music is really that good. Wishlisted for now.

Shit, what was I thinking, commenting about a new release in the thread for making comments on that new release.

Pretty sure everyone that says the same thing every release that triggers them gets some complaints at some point.

maybe , maybe not........

when i see a (new) game i visit youtube and look for walkthroughs so i can see most of the game.

I watched part 1 and the half of part 2, the game is very decent game, art is ok but the colors are limited,
episode 2 has some weird shadows that appear behind some objects / characters.

Overall it is a good game but the mood is so depressive , i play games to relax and / or have fun, be generally happy, but not sad, thats why i will skip this one and wait for a more happy and colorful point and clickgame.

Totally agree, artstyle is ok, but the colors are limited, and the story is too sad, if a happier story and more color game will come i might buy it but for now the story is way too sad...

GOG.com: magnum opus
Funny you should phrase it that way...
Bloody hell, it's even got those overly-shaded Tumblr noses. Gross.
