The 1060 runs pretty much every game at high settings in 1080p, so the 1070 should do even better.

Yeah, that's true. I've got a 1050 Ti on my laptop and it's usually doing quite OK at 1080p in most games at high settings, so I thought as much. The Witcher 3 had me switch some things to medium in order to get it running smooth as butter, but that's about it.

These Pascal cards really rock.

Last time I played it I used the thingy that increased the draw distance to Oblivion/Skyrim style, and of course I make it widescreen, but other than that I don't use content style mods. I'm strangely anal about playing games as intended, kind of like watching movies in their native ratio and proper color, etc. etc.

I'm not sure that's actually an improvement. RFC 1149 for "A Standard for the Transmission of IP Datagrams on Avian Carriers" is a more recent standard, sometimes known simply as IP over Avian Carriers, or IPoAC.

It has an updated recommendation RFC 2549 for quality of service.

And recently in 2011 has acquired compatibility with IPv6 with RFC 6214.

Clearly it's being kept up to date. I'm unaware of the Pony Express being given the same care. It might have become obsoleted by IPoAC.
