Hello!

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81wyj65SJIo

What do you think? I really like the animation. The trailer shows some great action scenes. Or maybe it's just a really good trailer. Regardless, I'm still looking forward to it. It looks like we'll be getting Mark Hamil as Skeletor, and Lena Heady as...I don't know. I checked her wikipedia page, but her television list (at time of posting) stops at 2019. It will be produced by Kevin Smith. Set to release on July 23rd on Netflix.
I was never a fan of He-Man (my crappy animated sword & sorcery jam when I was a kid was Conan the Adveturer) so I don't really have any expatations for it, I'm not invested... if it somehow transcends it's previous incarnations - great. But I doubt it'll appeal to me.

Me, I just hope The Barbarian and the Troll gets a second season.
not a fan of making things "anime" in style because they can, but it does look well done.

decent cast, decent quality animation at least and they haven't changed the character designs.

will see what happens.

Yeah, well, welcome to my hell.

I can't really call myself a fan. I liked the show (I would watch anything if it's a cartoon) but only got to see a few reruns in the 90s. If I grew up in the 80s I probably would have been more into it. Thanks for the link for The Barbarian and the Troll. I'll check it out when I get a chance.

It will surely be SJW propaganda - just like all the other remakes of this IP have been - as proven just from the title alone. They erased the name "He-Man" out of the title because SJWs hate strong masculine dominant powerful men being given any representation, and especially they will never let anyone like that to be represented in a positive light.

No doubt He-Man in this series will be a secondary side character who is emasculated and sidelined in favor of Teela and whatever other newly-created SJW characters that they fabricate, whom He-Man will play the subservient sidekick to and stooge for.

Sure they did. There's no iron cross on this fake He-Man design. Why? Because SJWs find it offensive, and hallucinate that it represents Nazism on He-Man even though it doesn't. So they censored & butchered the original character design solely in order to appease SJWs.

Likewise, they heavily SJW-ized Teela's appearance (much more so than is even shown in this trailer). And they also did the exact same thing to Evil-Lyn.

I found a good video that also outlines some of the kinds of problems I've discussed:

I have to say, that looks quite good. I wouldn’t say I was a fan, but I certainly watched it back in the day. Can’t see it being allowed though in today’s climate.

Only the trailer (that link was to the full first episode they put up on YT).

To be clear, I only linked it as sort of a joke - it's a comedy show with muppets, not really in the same ballpark as He-Man (though I do really like it).

Jesus. calm down before you shit your pants. Might I remind you that the 1987 movie also removed He-Man from the title (because, let's face it, that's a stupid name)? Or was that already the beginning of the nefarious plot?

Ancient-Red-Dragon: garbled rage nonsense
I liked the trailer. I hoping it's done well. I was into Heman and Shera cartoons when I was a kid and even collected the story books that came out back then. The show was just the right amount of silly and fantasy that I enjoy. I still love the art on these book covers. I have them framed in a 8 by 8 stack collage. Heman introduces me to Heavy Metal which I still collect to this day. Still working on my gaming room but the collage will go up once more! One of my kids got me the Dark Horse mini-comic collection which is one of my favorite to flip through. I never got the toys as a kid though as they were very expensive and all the times I did have the money the ones I wanted where not on the shelf. One thing that I did have that I still own to this day is the Skeletor helmet and weapon's set. So many Halloweens my kids would use the glow in the dark skull to either wear or decorate the home.

There is a nice little fighting game via Pico8 that is a lot of fun with a friend or solo against the CPU - https://theroboz.itch.io/motu
Yeah not a fan of He-man,, but the trailer is good overall,
But i'm missing something that i dont know what,, well have to wait i guess.
Graphics are good n hype...
Well, there's a tall order to stand up to. I can only hope they can match this magnificence.

Skeletor was probably the best part of the show. (This isn't a high bar.)

If only the international federation of human rights had your outlook. Seriously you must have something, be it cable, sky, Netflix, Amazon, or the millions of other streaming services, everything is streamed now! Even I have Netflix, and I pull the network cable out most of the time!
