sauvignon1: I just beat
Knights of the Old Republic for the first time.
Congratulations. I finished it recently too :).
I'm playing:
Loren Amazon Princess - Delightful thing I play in spare moments since it allows me to save at any time. It's a mix of visual novel and RPG. Tons of text, romances, skill trees, turn-based combat, etc. There are cliché plot twists and characters but I dig the theme a lot and author handles it in rather fitting playful manner. It also looks like a long game that is a big plus.
Braid - I bought it as a part of a HiB that I wanted for DRM-free Linux version of Psychonauts, Bastion and Limbo. While the last two weren't able to hold my attention for longer period of time, I found Braid fascinating. I didn't consider trying it (well, it's a platformer) until I watched Indie Game: The Movie. Very innovative gameplay, intriguing storytelling and fantastic soundtrack.
Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP - I discovered it same way as Braid (HiB) but I tried it the first time when I wanted to test Steam Beta for Linux. Because it didn't took long to download and it was a part of very tiny selection. Despite initial impression, I came to appreciate the visual aspect of game. I prefer to play it zoomed out because that's when it shines the most. Boss fights are engaging and challenging. It is unexpectedly funny at times and uses Twitter incarnation cleverly (not the actual Twitter). And oh, the soundtrack. I have to download it to my MP3 player.
