The TV version is really mutilated...and i'm pretty sure that's the one i know. Really hope that arte will show the uncut version soon...
or that it will be released on DVD or Blu-ray eventually...
I guess the race is on... Which will release first - the Hotline Miami 2 level editor on gog or Die Katze in a decent DVD/Blu-ray version?
My money is on "Die Katze" for two main reasons:
- (Sorry if this sounds cynical) Götz George died recently and somebody will want to capitalize on that
- They already have a brand new HD master, sourced from the original negative (this is as good as this film is ever going to look). They just have to put the thing out on Blu-ray.
