Now, you've stocked up on games, enjoy your summer!

Time does fly when you're having fun! The 2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale is now over. Thanks for being with us! This was the most wide-spread, exciting, and varied promo we've had to date. We've offered you great discounts on 700+ games, 30 custom-tailored game bundles, a gaming knowledge contest, and four free game giveaways. We hope that gamers all over the world are set-up for the summer with DRM-Free games to enjoy wherever they may go on their vacation. We know we've had fun and judging from your enthusiastic feedback - so did you. We took notes on your praises, complaints, and suggestion to make the future sales even better. Thank you for being with us and making GOG.com even better, step by step. As for those of you who only now joined the biggest and merriest DRM-Free gaming community in the world: welcome and enjoy your stay. We'll do our very best to make it interesting for everyone!

The 2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale is now over, but that doesn't mean we don't have more excitement in store for you. Quite soon, you can expect news about GOG Galaxy, our up-and-coming DRM-Free online gaming platform, The Witcher Adventure Game, CD Projekt RED's newest addition to the gaming Witcherverse, and an interesting update on our planned Linux support. Not to mention some fantastic new releases coming your way… Truly, this is an exciting time to be a Gogger. Thank you for choosing to be one!
The one complaint I have with this and the previous sales is that they never get the seasons correct. Come on GOG, it's early winter right now!

Other than that what can I say? Awesome bargains, FIVE free games (of which I managed to get 4), everything is DRM-free, great community, no bugs. One would have to be a major ass to find flaws on this sale.
GOG - you rock!

26 new games (5 giveaways)

Also looking forward for the Linux support, as now I need to search for the proper configuration for each game...

Thank you!!!
Good, though tiring, sale. Great for newcomers and regulars alike in terms of game deals. Perhaps not as exciting as Insomnia, but then it's just a small cadre of us hardcore GOGnards who demand to be entertained by sale mechanics. :)

While our Brazilian friend is right and it is indeed winter down there, I think we are being a little loose with the term. XD I've been watching those game; a lot of times it seems to be hotter than the sun on the field. :P
i did only manege to get 3 of 5 games for free
What free game giveaways did I miss? I know they gave away Magrunner and that's it.
But guys, guys! Remember...

Something something about winter

On a more serious note thanks again to all the folks who run GoG, for both a tremendous sale and some great free games.

Obviously I hope that includes fantastic classic releases, too. Despite understanding how much time it can take to bring games here, with ScummVM's support I have to wonder what the holdup is on The Neverhood. Hopefully compatibility can be worked out and EA releases can continue; we still need Theme Park World, Sim Ant, Future Cop LAPD, Neuromancer, etc.

On the other hand, I assume (or am hopeful based on the Nordic tweet response) Titan Quest is pretty much in the bag although it will probably be several months before that appears.

Magrunner :dark pulse
Omerta :city of gangsters
still life 2
torchlight 1
Alan wake's american nightmare
Shame there was no Myst bundle, maybe another time...
but, summer is just about to start! :-)
I love your sales GOG, thank you for them, but my god are they torture.

I passed on so many bits that I wanted (like the D&D one) where I have discs but the digital convince constantly nibbles away at me. A few other bits I wanted I kept missing time wise.

Really? I missed Omerta, Alan Wake & Torchlight completely (it's okay as I already had Torchlight and Alan Wake on HB, but Omertà would have been nice)
thanks alot! :3

Thanks GOG for a great sale. My backlog is even thicker. I think it would take me damn near 30 yrs to play them all to completion.

Again thanks for the freebies. They were much appreciated.

It appears the summer is going to be a little less gloomy for me now.

Cheers
