We've offered you great discounts on 700+ games, 30 custom-tailored game bundles, a gaming knowledge contest, and four free game giveaways. We hope that gamers all over the world are set-up for the summer with DRM-Free games to enjoy wherever they may go on their vacation. We know we've had fun and judging from your enthusiastic feedback - so did you. We took notes on your praises, complaints, and suggestion to make the future sales even better. Thank you for being with us and making GOG.com even better, step by step. As for those of you who only now joined the biggest and merriest DRM-Free gaming community in the world: welcome and enjoy your stay. We'll do our very best to make it interesting for everyone!

The 2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale is now over, but that doesn't mean we don't have more excitement in store for you. Quite soon, you can expect news about GOG Galaxy, our up-and-coming DRM-Free online gaming platform, The Witcher Adventure Game, CD Projekt RED's newest addition to the gaming Witcherverse, and an interesting update on our planned Linux support. Not to mention some fantastic new releases coming your way… Truly, this is an exciting time to be a Gogger. Thank you for choosing to be one!
Well, I'm really happy that this sale is finished. Already bought everything I wanted besides Banished which will have to wait for another flash sale.

Besides the last day of the sale is nothing new with every bundle being repeated for one last time. The same as on every other gog sale :) The only thing I did not like is the length and the speed of the sale - much too slow. Hope for another Autumn Insomnia sale. One thing im missing is that all of the flash sales would be available at one moment in the last day of the sale for one last chance to buy as it now seems some games won't come again before the sale is finished.

Really looking forward to Linux support and not so much for the client.
My haul in this sale:

Cyberevil: well, hmmm I don't have a twitter acct OR a Facebook. (And I don't intend to ever have either one) So i guess i won't be involved in the last day too much.
Neither do I but you don't need an account in order to participate as GOG receives the answers by e-mail. Just make sure to check their tweets every once in a while.

A little. We saw all flash sales on the first day and the only thing to look for later was bundles (with exception of Adrenaline Rush - that was awesome)

mrking58: Did you see it coming? I bet not
This isn't Smannesman's first rodeo. Pretty sure he saw it coming. As Matruchus noted, this is SOP for GOG's sales. Pretty much all of us saw it coming.
Ok, so that Banished promo banner that had been found was a red herring? Or did I miss something? :)

I missed much more cause I don't know anything of this Banished banner you're talking about.
This was the best sale GOG ever had in my opinion.
BTW, did you notice that the site background, while before it was a sunny beach, now it is the same beach but with sunset ? I don't know about you, but it conveys to me some sort of sadness, as if something great is over(I usually feel that way when a party, for example, is over). But I guess this is precisely what GOG precisely tried to convey....

None of you missed anything regarding Banished, it has yet to appear in a flash deal and most probably won't.
Thank you guys! I've almost completed my wishlist with this Summer Sale! =) It's time to fill it up with new titles.
My problem with this sale is with them recycle the same games for the flash sales the whole time, more variety would have greatly appreciated.

Things that didn't show up at all and individual games that were part of packages.
The challenges will be popping out irregularly through the whole finale, across our Twitter and Facebook
Meh, not that there's a loyal forum community :-/
Amazing sale, got me GoG Hooked... I'm home! ...Thank you GOG! ... and bring on the Galaxy! (also the Linux support so we can ditch Windows and with Linux and Galaxy ... be, finally, truly free)
