I started out gaming in the DOS era, but my favorites would have to be the SSI Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance games, Warcraft 2, Wing Commander 3&4, and all the Star Wars flight sims, especially X-wing vs TIE Fighter.

It was actually DOS era games that brought me to GOG, as I got interested in them when DRM became more commonplace. I think I posted the full story somewhere once before.

I especially like DOS era point and click adventure games, such as the Space Quest, Quest for Glory, and Monkey Island series (I actually went out to Amazon and bought original disks of some of these games). Plus, of course, Gabriel Knight 1, my first purchase on GOG, and what I consider to be one of the best adventure games ever made.

I love point and click adventures and one of my favourite series is myst.
I spent quite an amount on the physical DVD-ROM copy of riven recently. I couldn't get it to work, so it would be great to have the gog version of riven, too :-)
