Damn I'll have to try that now. I love how the game still has little things I've not discovered, I only just found that you can do counter-kills with the crossbow last night

The easiest way to is to find a woman by a house sweeping and jump into her. The broom is yours and oddly it is unbreakable... =/
I found out a few days ago you can also toss money into a well for an achievement/trophy.

Am I the only one who actually READS the achievement/trophy list instead of just randomly unlocks them lol

As if, I just didn't know that you could view the trophy list on the PS3. =(

Aliasalpha: What was wrong with the PS3 version of AC2? I played the crap out of that game to the extent of getting the platinum trophy and never noticed a problem
Well I installed it, got to Florence and dicked around for a bit and it does have some noticeable issues. Frame rate is good, but the draw distance for textures and shadows is appalling. When you approach any building the draw-in is noticeable. Also, when using the viewpoints the textures on all the buildings below are completely toned out. Go to the top of the cathedral for example, everything below you looks like a 1993 scene demo showing off the awesomeness of drawing > 100 gray polygons on screen at once.

It doesn't look that bad on the 360, so yeah, something was sacrificed here in order to stabilize the frame rate I bet.

Yeah, the trophy collection button is completely obscured, two clicks above the button to start the game.

Hey, I don't really look for these things on consoles, I prefer to play games.
I can only add that my son has both the PS3 and XBOX 360 versions of the game. He prefers the online community with the XBOX version better but says the PS3 version is a better game for the story and bonus missions.

Nah I meant the various 2 handed weapon things, I got the broom one early just out of curiosity

Oh. Yeah, just hold down the attack key and let it go. It's fun.
Just got the PC version in the mail today and it is much improved over AC2's PC version. The graphics options are robust and the game is obviously using higher resolution textures with the pop-in put further out (on max settings anyway).

AC2 was a straight-up console port in graphics, but this one seems to have had some more care put into it.

Game is good so far, though pretty much exactly the same as the last one.
