It must have been done with his blessing because he owns the IP.
Other than achievements I don't see anything different from the 15th anniversary edition.

Interestingly enough, it seems that this Anniversary edition is co-developed by DotEmu, but I can not see it being sold there.
You missed the Mac compatibility. That's another feature missing from the GOG release.

Kind of over priced. Its been on GOG for around 6 pound but Steam it is 7.99 pounds.

Have the 15th here but will probably pick this up on a future 75% sale eventually.

Normally I'd imagine the GOG version to update this swiftly but the title mentions Steamworks? That seems a bit odd. Tried to see if Dotemu had a non-steamworks version as well but they only have the 15th and a Blackberry version of the 20th on their own site it seems?

There was a DotEmu DRM free release of this not so long ago, so I hope GOG updates their version.

Damn, I'd love to see this on GOG along with D3D Megaton Addition expansions and Worms Armageddon. Oh well, hopefully GOG can work out a deal, but I suspect that dotEmu would prefer to have exclusivity.
