The state elections last night made me grumble. When I awoke earlier today, and saw people posting about this, I was suddenly struck by happiness.

Hadn't heard of this guy until now, but after a quick googling I wish to extend my congratulations to the nation of Australia. May this man never set foot near your parliament again.
Or any other nation's parliament, just to be safe.

A few more details on the resignation. The implication seems to be that there were dealings going on that were so shady you could sit in them and have a nice picnic
