Just so you guys know they probably would have used a different game to make this mod for but they started on it like 7 years ago from what I read so they didn't have much other choice than to go with NWN2 at the time. Otherwise I'm sure they would have gone with a different game to make the mod for.

I'm just glad this mod exists tbh, will definitely look forward to checking this out.

SOunds pretty neat. Im not a graphics whore but the screenshots look rather good in my eyes :). A 3gb download though..hmmmmmm

Crosmando: I just found this too. Sorry, I'm sure the effort the modder put in is a brilliant technical achievement, but this is a grand waste of time. The charm of BG are the beautiful 2.5D isometric maps and sprites. The NWN2 Aurora engine is a genuinely horrible piece of rubbish, which features perhaps the most infuriating rotating camera in the history of computer games.
I agree, but you forgot to mention the brain-dead A.I. Mod looks pretty cool, it shows there was a lot of love put into this project.

SLP2000: I'd prefer if someone made Neverwinter Nights Infinity Engine mod.
I fear that wouldn't make the plot any more interesting.

Then again, I wasn't very fond of Baldur's Gate's story-telling either, so I'd rather play original mods than remakes of games I thought a bit tedious in the first place ... But maybe that's just me.

I have only seen the videos so far but it looks pretty damn cool. I would much rather buy NWN2 from gog (supporting both gog and obsidian) and send a £10 donation to the team who made this than buy the "enhanced" edition. (Though I offer over-haul games all the luck they can get as it is still a worthy project, they can't be blamed for the loss of all the original material).

Anyone here more familiar with this project? I would happily donate money to the team, esp if they then decided to port the best BG mods into the game.
