Ki11s0n3: Got $10 credit on there and was wondering what games you guys would recommend around that price range

yyahoo: I absolutely love the platformer Outland. It's kind of like a cross between Super Metroid and Ikaruga. I believe it's 9.99.
That was the first thing that I thought of. Really amazing visually and a good play.

Toss in a link for good measure

You've got access to Chrono Cross; while I haven't tried it myself, I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Outland is a great game. I spent an evening figuring out how to rip the music from the 360 version to my iPhone; now I've got the boss theme on it in case I want to make a mundane task feel more epic.

Haven't played Chrono Cross but Chrono Trigger is amazing
Breath of Fire 4 or Alundra.

Alundra is my second favorite console game of all time, and that's saying something since I usually don't even like puzzles very much.

Breath of Fire 4 is my second favorite JRPG of all time, and one of only two games I actually own on PSN, the other being Disgaea 2.

Alundra looks pretty cool

Chrono cross is a huge let down compared to Chrono Trigger.
If you don't want to ruin your memories of playing Chrono Trigger, avoid cross at all cost.

I disagree. Cross is excellent. Just go into it knowing that it's not a real sequel to Trigger (they tried to make it into one, but ran out of time and therefore cut a lot of the content that would have tied the two together).

I would actually not complain if it didn't have chrono in the damn title and did not have that little chrono trigger refference scene in it.
^then it would actually be a good game, in my view.

Chrono Trigger was about: Time Travel and Combos... where cross has very very little of both.
^probably because cross has like 40+ characters right? but only 3-4 combos.

Still, you have many options to select something from psn.

Do you prefer replay value? Multiplayer? Story? game type (rpg/action/shooter/etc.)?
It is just sad SOO many of the psn store games are $14.99 :(

Rohan15: Suikoden!!!!!
This man is a smart man. Too bad 2 never came out on PS1Classics (or any of the PS2 games, for that matter).
I would say the remake of Monkey Island.
Stay away of Alundra if you cherish your health :)
